It was just announced a little earlier that Cain Velasquez will fight Junior Dos Santos on the first UFC event on FOX. I never expected this big of a fight for free.

I'm not sure what i'm more stunned over tbh. A fight of this magnitude on fox for free or Dana having a "big announcement" that actually lived up to the description.

This will be the only fight aired that night. A free heavyweight title match is good enough for me. This is hard to believe.

Should be a nice card. I mean this fight makes the card well worthwhile.

Just caught up with dana white's twitter..Looks like a huge money fight in December. Lesnar coming back to face the newly acquired Alistar Overeem.

Should be a sick matchup. Can Brock out-muscle Overeem? Time will tell. Here's to hoping Overeem can actually capture a worthwhile win. If not, he may be one and done in the UFC.

Overeem vs. Lesnar set for December 30th in Las Vegas...
Former Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem has found a new home - in the UFC. But after signing a deal with the promotion today in Las Vegas, he's going to get put to work immediately, as it was also announced that he will make his Octagon debut on December 30th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena against former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

Stay tuned for more information on Overeem vs. Lesnar and the December 30th event in Las Vegas.

UFC 137 press conference: Diaz dumped from the card and replaced by Condit

Nick Diaz simply won't play the game. He was banished once before by the UFC and it looks like it may happen again to the elite welterweight.

During a UFC 137 press conference this afternoon in Las Vegas, Dana White announced Diaz has been dropped from the Oct. 29 main event. He's been replaced by Carlos Condit, who will face UFC welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre.

White announced the replacement using a short promotional video. Clearly, there's no turning back from here. White said he hasn't cut Diaz yet because he still has to speak to the fighter.

The problems started yesterday when Diaz no-showed a press conference in Toronto. White said the company booked two more flights to Las Vegas for Diaz and he's gone missing in action since.

White also announced any ticket buyers displeased with Diaz's exit, can also return their tickets. He doesn't expect that to happen.

Carlos Condit vs GSP, wow I really think this fight will be interesting. Do not take Condit lightly, I hope to see a great fight in this one. Not to mention GSP is a true professional and definitely top 5 pound for pound in the world.

GSP will dominate, this fight won't be close

GSP almost always dominates, but Condit can be dangerous from almost any position, has an active guard off his back and really mixes it up on the feet. This to me really could be the most exciting GSP fight since his first scrap with Fitch. I fully expect GSP to win but I can see Condit finding a way to take one round maybe even two.

For anyone who didn't catch the first episode of The Ultimate Fighter 14, the full episode is up on the show's website right now, and I highly recommend watching it. For those unfamiliar, the first episode is twice as long, and consists entirely of people fighting their way on to the show. Some great fights this time around, as they have two lighter weight classes (weight classes the UFC did not have in the past), so the talent pool hasn't been thinned out over past years.
