Silva's on another level but I hope he gets the dog shit knocked out of him soon. He can give a beating with the best of them but I can't wait to see if he can take one as well. Just toys around with guys and acts bored in the ring. Why not just knock them out and go grab a beer at the bar.

I think he took a good beating from Chael Sonnen. Maybe he was toying, though. You never know with Spider. He's a beast though.

Jones and Silva would be a great fight. They seem like similar fighters and I'd be anxious to Jones do some damage. The kid's a freak and I mean that in a good way.

Anderson Silva has shown that he takes a good punch, and that he does not bleed. Two great qualities in a fighter, and demoralizing to an opponent. Okami landed a few clean shots last night.

With regards to the Sonnen fight, keep in mind that Sonnen is 4-4 in the UFC, has been finished in all of his losses, but has never finished his opponents in his wins (all decisions). Sonnen's strikes after taking down Silva did not seem to be effective. Silva's face didn't look like it had seen a fight, despite defending from the bottom for almost 5 full rounds.

To put that in perspective, Silva is 14-0 in the UFC, and finished his opponent in 12 of those fights.

Silva defeated Dan Henderson by rear naked choke a few years ago. I wouldn't argue with getting to see a rematch though. I would also echo the desire to see a matchup with Jon Jones. He would finally be up against someone with a longer reach.

Not to mention Sonnan tested positive for ped's after the silva fight. He doesn't deserve a rematch at all,but if he got one it would be somewhat gratifying to see silva beat him too death. All Sonnan does is talk shit. People are racking their brains to try to find a fight Silva will lose.

Fight Bones Jones..Win or lose,retire....imo. He is the king(silva). Jones has flaws in his game,but if he won it would be considered "passing the torch".

A lot of people don't realize that when he drops his hands or does his shuckin and jivin that he's just setting up a counter for the anticipated punch by his opponent. It's not that he hits a ton. It's that he hits people so fast and accurate there is no time to react imo.
