Pretty curious to see in the near future who is going to move up to his weight class or move down to weight class to fight him. IMO GSP and A. Silva are the best fighters period right now.

I agree, there's so many ways the guy can beat you, Hendo gave him a challenge at first, but then Silva learned his style and rocked him.

Maybe not period but yes regardless of weight class they are two of the best easily. Especially Silva.
Both would struggle with the top 5 of the UFC's LHW and HW class. And not to mention Barnett, AA, Randy, Arona, and others.

And Fedor would fucking destory them.

It will be interesting to see who adjusts their weight to fight Silva, I can say this, I don't know many people who want to piss off that guy in a bar.
I agree he is a beast and is easily the best MW, and could hold his own with almost anyone, but weight does make a huge difference when you fighting equally talented guys.

I am not disagreeing, you don't see a lot of champions making a change to fight someone out of their class, more often than not, you see fallen champs dropping or gaining weight to try and regain glory. Just like Roy Jones JR wanting to fight Silva, what the hell's up with that? Oh yeah, RJJ is done and trying to regain that lost glory. Pound for pound, I think the Spider is the best fighter in the UFC, but understand, I said "Pound for pound."

I agree with you. Pound for pound he is the best, with GSP second, IMO. Fedor is still the best p4p in the world. And Urijah Faber is pretty damn good too. RJJ would destory Silva in a boxing match, and Silva would destroy him in an MMA match IMO.

Well, isn't Fedor out of Silvas weight class, by a lot? So that's not really worth talking about. And RJJ would win, but I don't know about destroy, AS can take a helluva beating and his pride would probably keep him standing, since RJJ calls MMA human cock fighting and says it's not a sport. But I agree with you otherwise.

looks like he got hit in the face with a rake a few times. That was fun to watch. I guess some of you are saying pound for pound eliminates the heavys, because no doubt Fedor is the best MMA fighter in the world right now. Not really sure the argument that could be made that there is anyone better right now. Problem with Silva and GSP is they are running out of legit guys to fight, like others said some fighters will be switching weight classes soon.

Exactly Silva needs a couple guys to come to 185 or so , so that he has some people to fight.

I agree, Henderson was the last real challenge that people could see, now there's people climbing but no one who could realistically take him down. I think Hendo wants another chance, and Okami may be next up, but I don't see either realistically taking the guy down. He's got a sick combination in his ability to take a beating and figure out his opponent. So far, my favorite UFC fighter to date.
