We will see, Brock has been training for awhile. He really just got caught, and Mir had so many chances before that. Even his hammerfists weren't really connecting. Hopefully he comes back strong, I was definitely rooting for him, but this shows that size and power don't mean anything.

Awhile? 20 months?

He might have lost tonight, but he made it worth watching. I'm sure it's fantastic for dana...You could tell Mir knows the power lesnar has in his post fight interview...It was definitely a rookie mistake leaving the leg in and swinging out...Brock really was aggressive and exciting to watch imo...

Yeah, awhile. To train for that long, and make that kind of mistake, should not happen. I didn't think he looked too good, his hammerfists did not look that good when he had Frank down, and he was giving Frank every opportunity to sub him.

He definitely was giving him openings right and left...I disagree about the punches though..Up until that point if the round ended it would have been lesnar by far...He just isn't technically sound right now..

Right, you are talking about his punches, I am referring to his hammerfists when he had him on the ground. He did not look like he had that instinct out there. He did not really look to pounce when he should have.

I misread that..You are totally right. Keep in mind Mir is who he is though..I couldn't imagine fighting a guy of his caliber in my first fight in the ufc lol. He will definitely attract some attention...

For all you doubters that were saying "he can't fight MMA" "He's a street brawler only" It's time to take notice. Kimbo is going to run through Tank tomorrow. He's been training with Randy Cotoure...and is in great shape.

Isn't Tank Abbott WAY past his prime?

A win over Tank isn't a whole lot to brag about.

Just get him laughed at by the more elite fighters.
