It seems like anything could happen in this fight - a quick finish either way, a fight that favors one fighter in the beginning, but swings later in the fight - no one thinks Conor has a chance if Khabib dominates the early rounds, but I disagree. Can Khabib, the naturally bigger man, absorb crisp punches from Conor? Nobody knows - his chin is an unknown. Has Conor improved his cardio? Again, nobody knows. I had heard that Conor was reluctant to do a lot of good 'ol fashioned body weight running outside after his ACL tear in the Max Halloway fight years ago. Hopefully his knee is fully heeled by this point (he basically didn't have one the last time he went up against a dominant wrestler in Chad Mendes), and he has done nothing but run and practice takedown defense for the past 2 years.

Khabib's cousin Magomed Nurmagomedov recently got starched by an uppercut (leading to a submission loss) in a big upset in the PFL a few months ago. Look for Conor to lean heavily on the uppercut - it worked wonders in his first UFC fight against Marcus Brimage, but he seemed to gas himself out on them in the first Diaz fight because Diaz and his chin are not human.

My head says Khabib, but my heart says Conor. Hope it lives up to its billing.

Never seen anything like this. Khabib goes after a fan after cranking mcgregor, then what appeared to be one of khabib’s teammates jumps in the ring (while khabib is battling a fan),and punches Connor. Glad I stayed up for this

I love how sanctimonious Rogan and the other guy were being as if they're not going to milk all of that to death before the second fight, which people are now going to talk themselves into believing Conor deserves despite getting mauled.
Yeah, he was absolutely fucked up. He MAYBE got one round out of the four, maybe. Not sure I would want to see another one of those fights. Khabib is just too much on the ground for a striker like Connor to handle.

I'd give him round 3. After the Mayweather pay day I honestly don't even know why he wanted the first fight. I vaguely remember him saying in his documentary that he just wanted to get in, get paid, and get out, not get bear fucked by a cossack in front of millions of people.
