I was hoping he would get the next offer.

Nothing against Chapman, I am sure he is going to be a fine college QB. But Trubisky can flat out sling it (Plus, he's got some shake n' bake!)

I am all for offering on potential, but it's nice to see offers go out to QBs that produce at the highest level. Not to mention, competition Trubisky's faced is top notch. He's going to be a good one.

This was an interesting offer for sure. Seems like Mitch is flying a bit under the radar right now, but he appears to play very good competition for a program that performs very well. Plus, it looks like he has solid wheels. I wonder if the offers will start pouring in for him soon...

Me too, based on competition alone. I just meant based on interest from the staff, it seemed those were the two. There are things to like about Trubisky's game for sure, so of course I will defer to Urban's judgment. One thing you always get form a Mentor QB is a smart kid who is near college ready schematically...the offense they run up there is something else at the HS level.

I said in another thread that I really like this kid. Glad to see him offered. It will be interesting to see what happens with Chapman, because I think he could earn an offer at camp, but wouldn't be surprised if Zaire and and Trubisky ended their recruitment early..
