Missouri 36, Kansas 28 (Final)

Its a pretty simple deal now. We have at least a 50-50 shot but you have to think OU gives us a better than average shot.

It would help if OU returns some of its players. Murray is out, but they should be fine with Allen and Brown. It would really help if their star defensive ends are able to get healthy for this game.

Indeed it would.

It will also help if Mizzou suffers a little let down from being so up for this game and if their relative inexperience in the big game shone through.

OU's probably got the better team, better coaches and a ton more experience in games like this. All in all we can't ask for a much better situation.

We could ask for Kansas to somehow pull through. Oklahoma would slaughter these guys if they played like they did against OK St. this week.

OU is probably better in all facets of the game but the frustrating thing for OU fans is probably that their dominant defense simply don't show up when the season's on the line. They let the Kansas State's and the Oklahoma State's walk all over them when they got a shot at the BSC title. Fortunately for us, OU is not in contention for the BCS title.

Missouri's got themselves a nice balanced little team going here. I really don't think experience is going to matter when you got a big time QB and when these two teams have played already this season. I think the game is going to come down to OU's ability to run and ball and control the clock and their star safety's ability to play the ball and generate some big plays in the middle.

what a dumb time to waste your last time out, and you were going to have great field position... I don't want to rain on anyone's (rose bowl) parade, but I just don't have the confidence in OU to bail us out. They lost to friggin' Colorado...but I guess if they could beat Mizzou once, maybe they can do it again...I'm hoping of course!
