Mirko Jurkovic Jr. (Georgia signee)

We must want a 5th OL more than I originally thought. I actually was even a little surprised we wanted Richmond after we got the one from Utah, purely from a numbers standpoint. So not trying to say anything regarding Mirko. I'm sure he's great especially since the staff wants him.

Elite teams always start with the line and move out. And we certainly have to make up for some classes than didn't pan out as well with some reaches we took or just didn't pan out. I'm confident Urban is bringing in his guys and it's showing, I believe 3 of the 5 starters on the O line were recruited by Meyer.

Richmond visit is off. I think this visit is the reason why...and the fact Richmond was a very long shot...
I would be surprised for him to be in the class, but the staff knows our roster approximately 3,078x better than I do. And I'm referring to #'s, not talent. But if they see him as a guard/center type with Richmond obviously a tackle, I suppose that coulda or sense. Just a lot of OLinemen in back to back classes.

We need this amount of OL with the amount of guys that haven't panned, and guys weve had to take from the DL to fill spots. I think bringing in another 5 that fit what Warriner wants to do only helps. We've seen what he can do with a mismatch of guys, let's see what he can do with kids that were recruited for the O line and he can mold them for a few years. We're an injury away from being utterly screwed on the Oline.

I could agree with taking 5 OL after last years 5 in a vacuum. For example if 5 of our first 15 guys happened to be OLinemen that would have been different. But with so few spots left with so many other players at different positions still on the board, seems like we could use the last few spots elsewhere.

So I guess it's a "trust the coaches" thing with regard to other positions. Because I'm not saying that the OL doesn't need it. I'm saying other positions also need it.

Edit: and with regard to being an injury away from being screwed, there's absolutely nothing a 2015 guy can do to help that. Yes we're super thin in upperclassmen, but a true freshman next year won't help. A JUCO would probably help that argument more.
