Mike Vick (Pittsburgh Steelers)

My view on Vick has never changed.

All hype and absolutely ZERO substance. Poor passer, poor decison maker, lousy charachter. The only thing he can do well in this world is run. Soon as the wheels go(and they always do) he's done.

The pot doesn't piss me off but carrying a bottle with a false compartment in it, in this day and age of airline security is an absolute insult to the rest of us. My only wish is they would have treated him like any other mother fucker trying to carry something like that onto a commercial aircraft.

Vick has been a problem but not the only one. To say Atl. last coaching staff was NFL quality is laughable.

I guess he forgot how to be an NFL caliber coach after that 11-5 season.

Mora Jr's comments that led to his firing were as dumb as they come but the part about his being NFL caliber as laughable is pure hyperbole. He had an established NFL pedigree as an assistant and did fine his first 2 years.

When Vicks the franchise player all you are ever going to do is sell jerseys and make SC highlight clips.

Mora was great let me tell you. Did you see with all the coaching vacancies all the teams beating down his door? :slappy: He didn't even get a HC interview, with retreads like Chan Gailey and Denny Green get calls to interview he got zero. Mora Jr. is a good NFL coordinator, his rah-rah antics don't play well in the NFL as a HC.

How many coaches get hired the same year they are fired from another job? Don't try and change the subject. The topic was Vick being a piece of trash and a coach killer. Mora Jr was brought up because I called you on using uninformed and blind hyperbole.

BTW, if I wanted to see lame attempts to change the argument when it goes badly for someone or the incessant use of laughing emoticons to try and somehow denegrate the opposite point of view, I'd join a chat room for middle schoolers.

Last point I'm going to make on Mora Jr is that no one is going to do any better than he did with Vick. Ownership has crippled the team by making a me first, prima donna, thug, running back not only the franchise player but the QB. They can't surround him with enough talent to overcome his weaknesses because of how much they pay him and he's not going to get any better. Its been 6 years now, what you see is what you get and he's closer to the end of his career than the beginning. There is no more potential with Vick, there is just Vick as you see him right now.

I said this a while ago. He was with the WCO for 3 years and in the NFL for 6 years, Vick never improved. All this talk about Vick making the NFC championship game, while Kordell Stewart made two so I never get why that is brought up all the time.

And I'm unimformed? You get called out for bringing up Mora and then you don't want to talk about it anymore. To answer your question I know Denny Green was asked to interview with the Raiders and turned down the opportunity. So there is one guy this year that was fired and could have interviewed for another job. You are obviously clueless on the Falcons situation, and my feelings about him. I have never claimed Vick to be anything other than what he is. He isn't going to complete 60% of his passes, he is going to turn the ball over more than most because he carries it like a loaf of bread half the time and throws some awful ints. He is going to make some spectaular plays and be on the highlights because of them, causing more talk of being overhyped and a media creation. Whatever, if he wins games I don't care. Vick has been and will always be a polarizing player. As for me Vick can stay or go in Atl., I don't care. I was a Falcon fan before Vick and will be one when he leaves. I say trade him to the Raiders for the 1st pick, Al Davis loves these kind of guys.
