Mike Vick (Pittsburgh Steelers)

looked very good, second game in a row, or maybe its just the bad division :wink2: that being said its two games, honestly i dont see him on tv much where i live. but one thing ive always been a big believer in is inconsistency is the trademark of mediocrity. if puts this game out there more consistently i give mike, mora and the new o cor down in atl big credit.

I really think the last part is dead on...

Sorry I rejoined the thread, not to argue or to gloat, but just to say that Greg Knapp is finally earning his due. The playcalling in the last 2 games has been amazing.

I have never been a firm believer in the playcalling makeing that big of a deal, but the Falcons have thrown the ball more times on first down in the past 2 games than they have in the past 2 seasons.

Maybe some of Vick's bad performances can be chalked up to the fact that alot of times when he was throwing was on 3rd and longs and the d was unloading the rush on him.

There were also a couple times in the Cincy game when he decided it was better for him to make a play with his arm instead of his legs.

Yeah he also lead Jeff Garcia and Steve Young to their most productive years of their careers.

He has always had a great scheme for running the ball, but this year with the option read and the ability to mix in the pass more on non-passing downs he has outdown himself.

He packed it in somewhat in the NYG game when we got the lead, and then the D fell apart.

I thought he played tremendously yesterday. The Bungles D-line was weak, but even when they got close to him, he made them look silly and bought hmself enough time to get off a pass, which seemed to be on the money every darn time.

He threw a variety of passes very well, too. It wasn't just rockets. The floater to Lelie on the Falc's first possession was beautiful. The floater to Jenkins for a td, the bullet to Crumpler for a td, the floated swing pass to Norwood.......he showed great touch, and when you combine that with his mobility and the rocket arm he can use....wow! He sure is fun to watch when he has it all together.

Was at the game, that TD pass (slightly underthrown by the way) was a gift by Tory James who fell down (happens to him alot). The game could've really gone either way, but the Bengals' D has the tendency to bring out the best in the opposing QB (unless you're GB, Minn, CHI's QBs last year).

He did fall down, but Jenkins had him beat.

Aikman even said that he was beat and the ball would of been caught whether he fell or not.

10 throwaways and 6 or so drops will make the numbers look like that...

His INT's were freaking horrible throws and his fumble was inexcusable. I don't care if he is tired or not.

The o-line is desimated as is the secondary. They arent going to sniff the playoffs if they continue to play like this...

As Vick noted after Sunday's loss at Baltimore, the third straight defeat for the Falcons (5-5): "I can't do it all myself."

:slappy:

Sorry, dumbass, you and your stupid mind and weak assed throws are the reason the team is going nowhere.

How's that guy doing whom the Chargers took instead of you?
