Mike Vick (Pittsburgh Steelers)

Blah, blah, blah. I love the pathetic excuses. He just didnt stink. He sucked like Alex Smith. 13 for 32 for less than 150 yards with 2 interceptions. And its not like he hasnt sucked this badly before. If you actually think Vick is a good QB you havent been watching football.

ok, so you say that a QB sucks when he can't even set up to throw and he is getting pressure, if anything it is a good thing b/c he doesnt take a sack.

Not saying he had a good game, but 95% of QBs would of struggled in that situation tonite.

Give me a break and quit drinking all your damn vick flavored hatorade, b/c you werent here to praise him when he was actually playing good.

Yeah ok lets kick him when he is down when he is playing in -10 below temperature and the winds are swirling like crazy and his o-line can't block. Lets also keep in mind that the Bears defense is really good, and his ribs are hurting.

Now let me see any QB go out in those condidtions and have a good game.

He was running early and then he stopped, why? b/c you could tell his ribs were starting to hurt.

He started to heat up on the drive with Jenkins dropped ball int, when he had time to throw the ball and was setting his feet.

He struggled when he was being forced out of the pocket and throwing on the run.

When the media (Theisman, McGuire, Young, Irvin, Madden, etc.) stops hyping him up into something he is not then we wouldn't be all over him.
Vick sucked tonight. 13/32 122 yards and 2 INT is absolutely pathetic, putrid, whatever word you want to use. Vick's forte is rolling out or scrambling and then throwing out of the pocket and he looked worse out of the pocket than in the pocket. Grossman was playing in the same conditions and he looked better than Vick throwing the ball while not playing since week 3 of 2004. Roethlisberger was playing in worse weather last week against the same Bears defense with a sprained right thumb and he threw 13/20 for 173 yards and 1 TD.

grossman was playing in the same conditions? you must be talking about some other week like last year or something because it wasnt in tonights game. under those circumstances and with those players i would really love to know what other QB could of led atlanta to a win based on a QB alone. nobody thats who. they got manhandled by the bears D and i dotn care if its brady, manning, big ben, whoever they would not have done any better. if you think they would of i would really like to know how considering none of those QB's can scramble and how they would manage to get a pass off with a good defense completely in their face and plastering them every other pass.

95%??? Bull fucking shit. 95% of the QB's would have played better than this overrated POS tonight. He was horrible tonight, quit making excuses for him. Vick needs to take SOME of the blame for his play tonight. He can't play outside of the cozy confines of a dome. What is going to happen when Vick has to play on the road in the playoffs again against a top 10 defense with a pretty good defensive coordinator. It will not be pretty.

Except Cincinnati.
Except Pittsburgh.
Except Cleveland.

In other words any AFC team with a pulse. And Cleveland.

Ok first we will start with Cleveland, first it was at home and it was -7 degrees, and the Bears werent playing anywhere near what they are now. The Bears had 3 fumbles and and two turnover on downs. That is 5 TO's. And they still held them to 6 pts in 57 minutes. Dilfer hit Bryant for 33 yds. to take the lead with 3 minutes left then Orton fumbled and they scored real quick again. Play that game in Chicago tonite and it would of been worse than 16-3.

Then we will look at the Cincy game. The Bears had 6 TO and only gave up 24 points to the 2nd best offense in the league.

And as for the Steelers they were only team to truly dominate the Bears.

So give it up dude. Give credit to Chicago b/c they are pretty damn good. They have not allowed more than 7 pts in a quarter for 10 straight games. I would say that is pretty impressive.

It is called time in the pocket. He didnt have it. Grossman had all day.

THat is what I said.

Now since you are going to come at me can you plz explain to me why is overrated, and don't just use this game, b/c no it wasnt his best, and no it is not the norm.

I am also pretty sure he has owned Carolina in his career besides the game earlier this year. Lets keep in mind he has been playing through injuries all year and that has hampered his running ability.

Vick is part of the problem with the blitz. The problem with Vick he has make no pre-snap recognitions. If two guys are coming up to the line on the left side Vick will look at them and then stare down Crumpler and then avoid the sack, while Falcon fans blame everybody but Vick. I noticed this many times this yeear.

It looks like Falcon fans love Vick so much and would rather not win the Super Bowl with a flashy overrated hyped up player than win a Super Bowl with somebody like Brad Johnson.

Of course Chicago has an impressive defense.

And what happens when an impressive D goes against a horrible passer? 13-32 with 2 interceptions.

Mexico will be benched next year.

Dude you see the fucking weather conditions. When he was not able to step into his passes b/c he was fucking getting harrassed all nite he couldnt get enough on it to get it through the wind. He had his guy open on his first int but the wind held the ball in the air and if you watched the game you saw the wind hold it up, then if you saw the second int, either Jenkins dropped it or it was a catch. Not really the QB's fault.

Did he have bad throws yes, but how many times was he being flushed out of the pocket and how many times did he jsut throw it away. Some times and incompletion is the best pass you can make.

Ok one play that sticks in my head is the int that Jenkins dropped. He had a little time so he looked to his left then came back to his right and zipped it in there, and it should of been caught.

Also I was wondering how you knew he made no pre-snap reads. Do you have mind reading ablility.

Gee, is not Vicks strength supposed to be his escape ability? If he doesnt have that, he sucks. Because as a passer he is Tim Couch.
Vick didnt have trouble with the weather 3 years ago in Green Bay, did he? :roll1:
