Mwaniki is the second Cowboy to announce a transfer during this season. Wideout Jalen McCleskey left the team earlier this year.
By the way, Gundy, who is paid $5 million a year, has attempted to use his post to transfer to similar jobs at Arkansas and Tennessee in order to leverage more money out of Oklahoma State.

He sounds like a snowflake complaining about free agency. It's commendable how he went from player to asst coach and spent all but 4yrs of his 30+ yr football career in 1 place.... but that's not the norm in society.

Just a few hours before the Big 12 canceled all spring sports and spring football practice in response to COVID-19, one of the Cowboys quarterback-turned-coach’s children tweeted a short conversation with his dad. What did Gavin Gundy pass along from pops?
