No, it was posted that Lloyd said it, I have not seen anything from the official Press Conf transcripts or UM. I am just synical that people post stuff that is made up.

Kyle just confirmed that he is out, no telling how long yet.

Just to throw some jet fuel on the fire now he is supposed to be done for the year. This is coming from the guy that broke the story. He has a solid inside UM and he is getting accurate info so far.

Mover the the Rumormonger Board if peeps want.

I love it when news breaks. The truth lies somewhere in there...just got to root around and find it.

Without Manningham, will Carr keep his "Pass deep to Braylon Edwards" play in his playbook?

(I know Edwards isn't there, anymore. But I'm pretty sure that Carr couldn't find his box of crayons, so he never bothered to scratch out Edwards's name and write in "Manningham.")

This is really bad news for tsun. MM is their only big playmaker. Arrington doesn't stretch the field and Breaston is inconsistent at best. This could be a blow to the hopes of 11-0 vs. 11-0 November 18 if true.

That's more for the "11-0 vs. 11-0" crowd, which quite frankly I could care less about. I hope he's back, and I don't care what their record is...if we are 11-0 and potentially on the way to the NC game, it couldn't mean more to us regardless of their record.

I don't want LLLLLLLoyd's petty bullshit excuses, and I don't like to see any kid get hurt ever for any length of time.

Michigan fans have claimed all season that they have incredible depth at WR... now we'll find out the truth of the matter.

Arrington is a pretty good WR, but Breaston is definitely not a #2. Greg Mathews is expected to step up as the 3rd wr. Dutch is supposedly still in the 'doghouse'. Savoy is another big WR, he won't stretch the defense.

Perhaps Clemons will attempt to sneak into a #86 jersey this weekend.

MM Injury

Don't know if this should go here or in the PSU / UM game thread, but there seem to be more than just rumors than "Super Mario" Manningham (you remember, the guy who defected from the Cleveland area) has a strained meniscus. It has been noted he will have it scoped tomorrow to determine if it is torn. The general feeling on the scUM board is that, at a minimum, he will miss the PSU game, and possibly longer.

You know what they say - keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
