This is gold. Pure gold.

I honestly do not expect much to come of this cheating and illegal sign stealing. But the one exception is if the Federal guys and the Vegas angle gets some traction or finds that someone tied to the team was betting. It appears that SCum suddenly was covering the spread like crazy the last 2 years since the cheating started. Something like going from like 12-12 to like 16-6-2 which I guess is kind of insane and likely something that caused Vegas to flag the SCum program. Anyway, you would think they might admit they are scumbags but nope they are still claiming moral superiority. Gotta love that arrogance. It is like them acting like Ann Arbor was not a whore but someone who just liked having sex and getting paid...

So just found the actual numbers. Hairball went from going 25-25 against teams in the B10 to going 17-5 the last 2 years against the spread. That is a significance change and I am sure that raised some serious flags in Vegas. The issue is that once data stops acting as expected you begin to look for an outside force acting on the event that is skewing the results. I am sure Vegas was taking a bath as UM has a very large handle and additionally the fans were more than likely taking the over. This is why I think this may not go away so easily. Or better said the only reason it might not just get swept under the rug.

Ever since we can remember, Meyer's referred to Michigan as the "Team Up North." Even as an analyst, that's what the former Ohio State head coach calls the Wolverines... until now.

During this week's "Big Ten Today," Meyer called Michigan "The Rival School."

Naturally, Michigan State fans, who believe Meyer could be in the mix for the Spartans head coaching job, think this is a good sign for their football program.
