Michigan DB Morgan "slappy" Trent (official bungle)

a deeply talented D-Line and two shutdown corners, where did we go wrong?" introspective Michigan article is the same one that was first written in 1998, which Michigan beat writers just republish every season

Hey. In their last three trips to Cbus UM has only given up 111 points. That's not so bad.

I think it's time we all paused, bowed our heads and remembered a man, who in my opnion, seeded himself as part of the history of Ohio State football. Without this person, we couldn't have had such an easy run, without him, we would never have really understood the corner position. He's done all he can for the Buckeyes over the last 4 years, and I felt he deserved a standing display of emotion last Saturday, something, that never happened, and it's not fair.

His name will be mentioned to future generations, perhaps there will be songs written about him. He was the Mike Lantry of our generation, the man on the other side of the ball making sure we always won.

I am speaking, of course, about scUM corner back, Morgan Trent.

Over the time he's been playing, those missed tackles, those failed interceptions, all the plays he made for the Buckeyes.

Morgan Trent, you are our Best Friend, and you will be missed.

I just sort f feel bad for him. Normally, I can work up a pretty strong hatred, and I've had fun at his expense, but when I think about it....I've never seen him make a good play. I mean, I'm sure he has...I just haven't seen it. Has anyone here? Every time I've ever seen him, hes just getting abused. For example, the Penn State game. My God that was bad.

Normally, I feel no remorse for hating on a player...espcially if I get to watch them showboat after a routine play. But I never even had an opportunity to witness that.

I think the best play I ever saw him make wasn't even really a play. He was just there as Beanie stepped out of bounds on Saturday. I guess that was the only official tackle I ever saw him make, and he didn't even make contact. Bless you Beanie.

I look forward to watching more Morgan once he's drafted by the Browns....I'm sure it will happen.

Beanie's beard took one look at Morgan's, and it laughed so hard, it pulled Beanie out of bounds. This explains everything.

Oh, and the Bengals called "DIBS"!!

This is great, but it really doesn't do him justice for his entire career...he really needs this clip to be updated for it to be a real tribute.

Well, he did manage to run down Percy Harvin from behind and save a TD in the Capital One Bowl last year.

That was pretty high on my holy-shit-o-meter. Not as high as Maurice Clarett running down Sean Taylor, but it was definitely up there.

And to make it even funnier... a set of 4 new pylons goes for $88 so one can infer that having the names Michigan and Morgan :slappy: Trent on a plyon brings down the value by $10:

Set of Football Pylons

Of course he devalues them! He gives up alotta touchdowns by accident...therefore if ECON 200 taught me anything high supply and steady demand equals a rate decrease.

Morgan Trent being smeared over a pylon is more common tryptophan naps on thanksgiving.
