Michigan Chatter - 2004

I also want to give props to Antonio Smith and SirJo Welch. Heralded and beloved? Nope. But these guys stopped big punt returns and kick returns from Breaston. I was afraid of Edwards, but definitely afraid of Breaston, and my breath stopped EVERY time he got the ball. But he never had anywhere to go, or any room to even return a punt because SirJo and Antonio were THERE. These guys are fucking awesome.

The whole team really deserves props, yes, but these guys don't get credit and they totally deserve it.

without question, and they have done it game in and game out. while its easy to overlook their contributions, its impossible to deny.

I will miss nuge since the day I saw him play football down the street when I was growing up. I will miss Hawk for the first time since I played high school football with his half brother at Centerville who told me he would be great some day.

the best part about this game is that is all the offensive recruits will remember. they will remember the wide open offense (or as close as we can get to one) against michigan and not the sruggle for a first down throughout the season. this was a must win in many different ways and we won it about the best possible way we could have.

JT has taken a lot of crap this season - he needs to recieve his props for getting the team ready to play the way they did today.
J JT came through today, especially when we were down 14-7. Troy really showed some leadership, making the third down conversions we couldnt make earlier in the year. llloyd just make sure you keep punting to Teddy Ballgame. Awesome Victory!!!

I'm getting ready to watch the game again right now.

This win is one that a program can build on for years to come. That team that was out on the field today is virtually back intact next season.

That was a victory that will be relived for months to come.

What a game!!
