Couldn't agree more. Add Hawk and Carpenter in there. The secondary, which has been plagued by injuries, really did well too. It was great to see Whitner back. And, as always, NUGE!
I've been waiting all season for one QB to step forward and really take control. Troy Smith did that today. I wish it had come sooner, but it definitely didn't come too late.
I think Youboty has had a breakout year, and could develop into our 'next great' corner, where 'great' brings to mind names like Winfield, Clements, Plummer, Springs, etc.
I think there's going to be a strong argument to be made about us having the best LB corps next year.
The coaches stepped up. The players stepped up. The fans stepped up.
Thanks to the seniors, and congrats for going out the right way.
Oh yeah, Nugent has a brother? Is he younger? Someone drag his rear end off the soccer field and get him kicking for us next year.
Tressel, during post game, said that they had some game to get to (Troy and Teddy) but cut himself off saying he didn't know if it was legal to talk about it, and left it alone????
I want to hand it to the crowd for being in the game and not giving up when the Bucks were down a touchdown. I could hear it in west michigan so I cannot imagine how loud it was at times in the Shoe. Good job 12th man.
The DL was superb, and really paved the way for our victory. Aston had a great game, and so did Smith. Of course Ginn was pretty good too. Even the punter banged a 71 yarder at just the right time. What a great team effort.
