Michigan 14, Penn State 9 (final)

I went with Michigan to beat the spread BUT I'm still torn on who wins this game! For some crazy reason, I see Mike Hart torching Penn State and Morelli just looking lost. I'm hoping for a GREAT game though!

Oh Cmon , I like the way you think about these games.
ttun and psu are just waaaaay too jekyll and hyde.

psu is inept on offense but has the skill positions to score... if morelli gets them the ball. does morelli offset the hapless scum defensive backs? the skunkbears' strong suit is probably the running game; however, psu is much better against the run than it is against the pass. will it be henne or mallett? will it matter? on the other hand, psu gave up 340 passing yards to buffalo. buffalo! did ttun turn the corner against ntre ame? then again, it was just ntre ame.

too many questions. there are other games to bet.

if i'm forced, i'm taking scum and the points. morelli isn't a scrambler and is prone to horrible passing games. psu's rushing offense is inexperienced and shallow. scum might have regained some swagger for a home game in a series that has been absolutely dominated by the vulvarines. 4.5 seems like a fair amount of points in what should be a low scoring game that, to me, is a coin flip.

The 4.5 point spread looks coverable.
But, Penn State is O-fer at Ann Arbor! Hmmmmm?

Penn State is o-fer in AA??? I didn't realize that. You'd think Joe Pa could sneak one out against Lloyd in the Pig House. Obviously, they're also o-fer in Columbus, with most games being not very close. Not very good against the Big 10's Big 2.

IIRC, the Bucks have only managed 2 wins in Happy Valley. The first being 1995 on a late Eddie George TD, and the second being in 2003 on a late McMullen/Jenkins TD and a last second 114 yard Penn State FG attempt (which was scary-close). How has Michigan done in Happy Valley?

Penn State won in AA in 1994 and 1996...the last time they beat them at all. Ironically they've actually got more wins in AA (2) than at home (1) against them, so to answer your question the Vulvarines are 5-1 there.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) -- Confident one minute, cautious the next. Joe Paterno just doesn't have a good read yet on his Penn State Nittany Lions.

One of the biggest tests to determine whether No. 10 Penn State is Big Ten title-material comes Saturday with a trip to the Big House to play Michigan.
"I've always said you never known how good a football team you have until you have to do things under a lot of pressure," Paterno said Tuesday. "I think we're still in a stage of finding out how good we are."
