Oh like I'm the only celebrity stalker that's ever posted here
I'm not a celebrity stalker (well, other than Teri Hatcher) but Wie has tripped my trigger too.. since the first day I saw her on ESPN.. I saw her in the follow-thru pose

There's only one problem. LPGA rules stipulate she can't turn pro until she is 18.

In fact, Morgan Pressel - the "other" amateur who finished second in the women's Open (and several strokes ahead of Wie) - has already petitioned the LPGA for an exemption. Pressel is 17 and, by the way, the top-ranked amateur in the women's ranks.

Look it up yourself!

BTW Pressel is a whinner!

And when she does, she will immediately become the world's highest-paid female golfer.

According to a report on the Golf World website, Wie could turn pro as early as next week, at which time she is expected to sign endorsement deals with three companies (one of which is believed to be Nike) worth an estimated $8 million.

When appearance fees and other endorsements are added in, Wie is expected to earn in the neighborhood of $10 million during her first year as a pro ... not counting what she wins on the course.
The report also says Wie will be represented by the William Morris Agency, even though the Beverly Hills-based entertainment agency has no prior experience representing pro golfers. Wie will then make her professional debut at the LPGA's Samsung World Championship, two days after her birthday. A source told Golf World that Wie wants to turn pro well in advance of the tournament in an attempt to minimize distractions. "(It) will happen before the end of the month," the source said. "To do it at the tournament would be a bit unsettling."
