MichaeLLLLLLLLL "0-9" ‘Bike’ Hart (douchebag)

Hart running his forty looked like the neighborhood fat kid chasing the ice cream truck.

But the neighborhood fat kid caught it.

MH will get his share of ice cream sandwiches as long as he keeps his mouth shut and doesn't piss off an offensive coach along the way.

Combine - Rising & Falling Prospects (Sunday)

Stock Falling
Hart didn?t measure well at the Combine (5-8, 207) and didn?t show much explosion; he ran a 4.67 in the 40. Hart isn?t the most athletic back in the draft, and he proved it by turning in a 28-inch vertical, but he did look good making cuts in drills. Hart will have to improve his 40-time at his Pro Day.
Hart - This short tailback ran poorly with 4.67 and 4.69 times in the 40. His Michigan pro day will be critical to his draft status. He also had a subpar 28-inch vertical leap and added 23 reps in the lifting.
Comments were from Scout, then Rivals

quite honestly, how much is hart's 40 time really going to hurt him??? You aren't taking Mike Hart as a speed back or home run threat. He's an in between, pound it out ball carrier. His strengths are his vision and quick feet/cutback ability.

I doubt his 40 time will hurt him by more than a round.

I'm re-thinking my Manningham in the first prediction however....

And ability to break tackles. Probably helps that he's so short and built like a bowling ball.

I sure hope the scouts aren't somehow disappointed in his combine numbers. That would imply that they haven't been paying attention for the last four years. Hart's not fast, I could have told them that, and for less money than it would have cost to fly him to Indy for the combine. And he's 5'8" on tiptoes. So he's not outjumping anyone either. If this is news to the scouts (it certainly seems to be to Scouts, who put him on the "falling" list) then sign me up for a job, I've already got this gig nailed.

CBS News
One who didn't was the University of Michigan's Mike Hart, who ran 4.67 and 4.69. In his interview with the media Saturday the 5-foot-8?, 206-pound Hart conceded he had to "have a great week" and "run a good 40."
He failed on at least one account.
"I feel sorry for him because he's such a great guy," said a scout. "But he's 5-8 and 4.7. You can forget him."
