He didn't want to wait any longer and Michigan is pushing hard for a committment. That's the easy explanation and that's what I would expect to happen.

I don't expect it to be Michigan. My best guess is Tennessee which he has always seemed to really like. But if it is Michigan, it will be yet another Ohio kid that Urban did not offer and Hoke seemed to use that fact to get an early commitment. Michigan fans are acting like Urban is being dominated by Hoke, but there are only a couple kids we were going after that have committed to Hoke.

Hows that when Urban passed his '12 class in 2 months? They may have alot of recruits right now, but its very early. And the players we have commited are elite.

McCray is a good player, and I hope he goes south not North. I think Kimbrough is next in line for an offer, and maybe Urban told his coach he might not get offered.

This. I've been wondering if Urban told the kid or his coach that OSU is going in a different direction so he doesn't hang around waiting for OSU. Over on the MGO board, a lot of the posters are assuming he's a lock to TSUN for no reason whatsoever other than that Hoke is "LIiKe TOTALlLy AW2ESOME AT oUTRECRUIttING URBAAN LIER!"

From looking at his Scout Profile, I would guess he's been told no offer unless he proves himself at camp. He is showing no interest in OSU:

If you're relying on someone's Scout profile to gauge a recruit's interest level, I have taught you nothing...

Ohio State wasn't even listed on Curtis Grant's profile almost up to the day he pledged...

You can't gauge interest from what scout.com says, but that said, I keep reading OSU has very little interest.

I don't get it, this kid is a top 100 talent, but hopefully their not offering can help Michigan land another top recruit.
