Miami Marlins (2x World Series Champions)

How sad. Didn't really know much about this kid except for his amazing pitching talents until today. Saw an interview on ESP(e)N(is) this morning he did with Carl Ravich (SP?) As a Cuban defector turned American Citizen, Jose was truly appreciative of the opportunity he was afforded to play baseball in our great country. Seemed like he took nothing for granted and determined to work for what he had, not simply having things handed to him.

The game of baseball today lost one of its greatest young talents, possibly one day a Hall Of Famer. More importantly, today Jose's family, friends, and loved ones lost a fine young man that deserved better. Condolences to all of those close to Jose and the entire Miami Marlins organization.

Peace
