Miami Heat (3x NBA Champions)

nobody really said that.....did they?

espn.com had a Miami Heat 72 win tracker that they had been running on the NBA page that they finally removed shortly after the loss to the Memphis Grizzlies a few days ago.

Also as I type this, espn.com has a sportsnation poll asking what the Heat are more in need of....a center, a point guard, or a new coach.

LMFAO!

:slappy: these Heat are legendary!!!
Batman now 11-47 in his last three games. If all three of the superfriends are on their game, the Heat could be dangerous. Problem is, that has rarely happened. Their styles are not complimentary at all. We're also seeing that you need depth to be dominant in this league. That's why the Cavs were so good the past couple seasons. Maybe they didn't have the complimentary star, but they were very deep on the bench. The Celtics were deep. The Lakers are deep. The Heat have the three butt buddies, a very old Z and a bunch of scrubs. I pray to God this team goes something like 45-37 and gets knocked out before even getting to the conference finals.

LeBron's Christmas present to himself will be to get Spoelstra fired and Riley as the head coach before the year ends. I'm sure in his mind this magnificent threesome can only be coached by someone of Riley's talent. Anyone less is not worth the effort.

Could get interesting then, because aren't Wade-Spoelstra pretty close? I can't wait until they inevitably start going at each other in the media.

pretty amazing what's happening with this team. It's a like a train wreck you can't look away from right now.
Is it really, though? You bring three egos together who are better served as #1 options, give them little depth and expect them to dominate? They have two players who do not compliment eachother well at all in batman and robin, then throw in a soft big man in rupaul, whose only strength is...yeah, scoring. If all three of them are on their game, they will be difficult to beat, but, their styles aren't set up for that to happen on a consistent enough basis. I love it.

I heard a quote from LeBitch saying "they were playing to unselfish basketball" that if one of them was going they'd tried to get the others going... man.. sounds familiar... he really doesn't want to be the man.

This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in sports, and it plays out in full drama every night a game is played. The body language...priceless.

I really hope the Heat get it together and make the playoffs (okay, the East is sorry, they are at least going to make the playoffs....right?). This team is going to produce such a hilarious exit against the Celts, Magic, or Bulls that "shadenfreude" will be stricken from the English language and replaced with "taking my talents to South Beach."

As bad as it is now, the playoffs will be epic, wait for it...these guys are ALL losers, even DWade. He had Dirk in the finals, Shaq bruising for him, and the most blatant example of the referees trying to create a superstar with their collective whistles that has ever been seen in pro sports history. All three of them are R&B wannabes...they aren't even studio gangsters!
