Miami Heat (3x NBA Champions)

6 more turnovers for, um, LeTurnover. :slappy:

How long until they start calling each other out in the media? :slappy:

BTW, remember all the idiotic debates about them challenging the Bulls best regular season record? They'll have to go 64-4 the rest of the way...

They're ALL OVER that...

DWade played 37 minutes and only scored 3 points (how is that possible?) and the entire Heat bench scored a grand total of 4 points. Z started and scored 12.

When Z scores 4 times as many points as DWade and 3 times as many points as the entire bench, that sure isn't a recipe for success.

Dan Gilbert said The Curse was going to follow LBJ to Miami. Let's see: Mike Miller injured, Haslem injured, Chalmers injured, DWade banged up, Bosh struggling against any legitmate opposing Big, the many months long media and fan backlash against LBJ because his public relations people are inept, empty seats at Miami's home arena, LBJ calling out coach "Spols" for playing the league MVP too many minutes, Eddie House taking the final shot with the game on the line at least twice already with three "14 million dollar men" on the roster. All this and only 14 games in.

Does anyone really believe that Z is gonna stay healthy for the whole season? What about Bosh and Wade's history of staying healthy for a whole season?

What Curse? There's no such things as curses!!!! But......

I don't remember any point in LBJ's time in Cleveland where the team was this...........................................off! The whole vibe surrounding the Miami Heat is just......................off! Bad vibes. Bad Karma.

Hmmm......Sometimes people get exactly what they deserve.

Let Lebron and the Heat piss this season away (no ring for Lebron). Then next year maybe a Lockout will cancel the entire season (no ring for Lebron). Then when play resumes in October of '12 hopefully there will be a hard salary cap in place (like the NFL) that will make it impossible to field a competitive team when the Heat have 45 million or more wrapped up in 3 guys (no ring for Lebron in Miami ever).

What Curse?

I'm kinda hoping there's a lockout and the entire nba just caves in on itself. It's rubbish and needs to be burnt down. Start a new league from the ashes.

nobody really said that.....did they?

The first is a long winded bullshit examination comparing the 72 win Bulls to the crap in Miami. And the best part is they picked LeTurnover over Jordan as the "Leading Man" :slappy:

Jeff Van Idiot weighed in and said they would break the record:

I don't even know why it was up for debate except to think it has something to do with the douchebag (mostly, no offense sharkonwheels) fans that inhabit that place down there talking shit and not backing it up AGAIN.

Don't be at all surprised by the losing that is going on in Miami at this point. It's been a pretty open dialogue from before the season even started that Lebron's people have been saying
that he wasn't going to Miami to be coached by the "the student teacher". He's been open to people around him that he went there with the intent that Riley would eventually move into
the coaching role. What is being executed now is simply the destruction of the current coach to achieve what he's wanted from the beginning ...Riley coaching the team.

I'll be back around more regularly, in time. My wife has been dealing with some pretty serious issues that have changed some priorities. Not much of an insidewr on the Cavs front, but
still do get wind of alot of stuff throughout the league. Lebron is doing what he does to get what he wants down there, and that isn't having the current coach run the show....it's Riley.

I have been told my more than a few close to Lebron that he will make sure he gets Spoelstra out of there, and Riley on the bench. He wanted that commitment when he signed on
in Miami, but with that not happening the way he wished, he's doing what needs to be done to get the result he wants. Doesn't believe the current coach is worthy of what he's fallen into.
This from an insider at RealCavsfans.com. He's trusted over there...

Anyways, not surprising if true. LeBron playing "puppet master" again. The biggest issue with this "plan" is that Wade and Spoelstra are very close. Wade already seems enraged with the current situation, can't imagine he?d be head over heals to see "his" coach get the boot for LeBrons first choice.

BTW, LeBrons entourage isn't allowed on team charters. LeBron isn't allowed to stay in opposing teams cities extra nights even if they have an open date the next day, and has anyone seen Gloria courtside? Will this help LeBron grow-up or lead to more boorish behavior?

Yeah, you wouldn't want another team tampering with him when he stays an extra night in another team's city. That would be unconscionable.

which is bullshit. spolestra may or may not be a good coach. but bottom line is that once riley stepped into the front office role and hired him, that team has been basically tanking to the best of their ability for 2 straight years. they brought in nothing but vet castoffs with short term contracts to position themselves for the summer 2010 FA bonanza.

now that the talent has been acquired, it is deliberately tanking games to justify firing this guy? all orchestrated by the biggest douchenozzle in the NBA?

Spolestra is a Riley disciple. he does everything the same exact way. if Lebron thinks that Riley is going to magically make Joel Anthony not suck he's a bigger retard then anyone could imagine. Furthermore, this would be the 3rd coach that Lebron undermined to the point of getting them fired.

Made the mistake of reading some stuff on the blog from that first link. Nothing quite so bad as someone who takes stats and tries to conform them to his argument.

2 months after penning the argument for 72 wins he spits out this gem;
Miami Heat Will Force Haters To Learn A New Tune After They Beat The Jazz

All of the analysts talking about the Miami Heat's supposed weaknesses at point guard and center will be exposed as false prophets tonight after Heat's home game against Deron Williams, Al Jefferson and the Utah Jazz.

Based on the formula for determining a team's probability of winning a single game, the Heat have a 98.7 percent chance of beating the Jazz when they visit Miami tonight.

It's full frontal retards like this that give statistical analysis a bad name.

Watched the game- obviously rooting for the hometown team in this one.

There's just no "life" or energy in any of their games. The arena sucks, but beyond that the players don't even interact with each other.

Pacers out hustled and out-manned them.
