Just so you guys know, it's OK for you to talk a little smack with Gators, 'Noles, and other SEC and ACC fans on this board. The more humorous the better, and keeping it friendly is appreciated - as long as nobody on either side gets nasty or personal it's entertaining.

But please also be aware that the guidelines are different when talking about tOSU since this is clearly a Buckeye board. So there's no smack talk, etc. allowed toward tOSU.

No problems so far - just trying to make things clear so we can steer clear of any.

Dude i got alot of respect for OSU no flame intended.. It's personel when it comes to football in the state of florida.

You may have noticed that you have been down lately. During that same time we have been very successful. Now would have been a great time to play you. I mean, the last time we played Da U Wandy in '08 was crying to the press about Urban running up the score on him.

Back to history. We beat you badly in '83 when you were favored. Your only defeat in the cane's MNC season. We also beat you in '85, when you were favored. The last home defeat for you for another 50 or 60 games. So it is not like you owned us in the 80s. I'm old, so I know. :wink2:

When the SEC went to an eight game conference requirement, and having to play a home and home with FSU - we dropped you guys. We were stuck with eight conference games, every other year required to go to Tallyho - and of our conference games one of them was not ever a home game, but in Jacksonville. Both the University and the city fathers of Gainesville wanted games in G-ville. Simply, our AD and city wanted the $$$ for teams not requiring a home and home. What Foley (the best AD in the business, IMO) wants, he gets.

See you in 2013.

UF has 3 plus FSU 2 = Miami 5. The only time UF has had success is when Miami has been down. Good luck against USF. You might need it this year.

Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for any school that can claim multiple championships in the same decade, regardless of their perceived legitimacy, but there's a special place in hell for the fans who boast their school's credentials over a handful of games rather than each season on a whole.

I'm infinitely more impressed with a football team that plays 4 or 5 top 25 teams each season and loses a few BCS bowl games than I am with a school that annually schedules 4 or 5 cupcakes and wins a couple of titles.

Present company excluded of course. :biggrin:
