A) He was an employee of the University of Miami (that means the school is responsible for what its employees be perpetratin' to make it easier for you to grasp)

B) Why am I not surprised?

C) In retrospect I'd say he wasn't quite as good at it as you guys thought he was.
Check out the book Cane Mutiny by Bruce Feldman. He wrote an excellent book about the good bad and ugly that went on at Miami back in those days.

10 times better then the U movie that Billy Corben produced. I think Warren Sapp wants to kick his ass for making that movie lol

Signing more kids to scholarships you don't have is oversigning. When you're school does it, it really doesn't matter what other schools do because your school is guilty of it. Bottom line. It's wrong and kind of embarrassing. Saying it wouldn't be an issue if other schools hadn't shown the public how wrong it is, is just flat out stupidity.
Agreed but its Seantrel lol. I heard Latwan finally got in to. But i doubt he'll play this year. Also not every kid that gets signed doesn't qualify so it can be a double edged sword when it comes to recruiting.

Because i think they over signed like 15 players which caused the NCAA to crack down on over signing. Its nice to have depth again for a change. Un like Randy's first year when i think we had 54 players on scholarships.

So you do think the above mentioned case was over signing but its O.K. because the SEC does it worse than Miami?

Recruiting is a dirty business. You have honest coaches and dis honest coaches. But also if you have only 15 schollys available and only sign 15 and 4 don't get through the clearinghouse then your stuck with only 11. Plus with signing day in february and kids enrolling in august it could hand cuff programs for having the 85 maxed out.
