Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

So Miami had their spring game at a minor league soccer stadium that held a little over 20,000... They had 3500 fans
:slappy:
there to see a sad example of football. It'll be yet another long year for Hurricanes fans, all 3500 of them depending on the day

And I think David Beckham tried to build a dual soccer stadium to go with a football stadium closer to the campus so that could be used as their home field as a way to get more students to home games. I believe that plan fell through. And also how sad is it that you need to share your stadium, and with a soccer team nonetheless. Nothing against soccer but I don't see any major CFB teams sharing their stadiums with a soccer team ever

What I am scratching my head about, is how does a school go 6-7 and still have two players go in the first round? Are you really that bad of a coach to screw the pooch when you have NFL talent in skill positions?

Honestly, yes! And the fact that they had so any players drafted shows the ineptitude of their coaching staff. I laugh at their fans who use the drafted players as a bragging right, not realizing that that makes their team look worse. And of/when Golden fails, there isn't much hope in sight

Au contraire. The future looks bright indeed.
