I some how don't see the NCAA looking at some sort of "score card" to set penalties for players. But perhaps that's exactly what is needed for dealing with current players in general. More calls for the NCAA to get their [Mark May] together.
Miami's D line is very thin even with Forston playing. That could be critical to our run game. Gonna be a battle for sure but I think the team expects a great battle. Makes for a more interesting game for tv and ABC/ESPiN.

board contrarian speaks: I don't see any particular problem with the sanctions announced so far. I'd expect some vacations of past season wins, but with respect to the current players, I have no problem.

I give you a hard time a lot, so I will take this opportunity to say that I agree with you here.

Honestly Gator, I didn't stop at 2005 just because going back 1 more day would get them to vacate a Peach Bowl win over Florida. It was just a coincidence.

Interesting that Forston has $400 to pay back before he can play. Where is a college kid gonna get $400 in 2-3 weeks? That won't be easy so there's no guarantee that he will be available for our game. (but I'll just bet he finds a way some how)

GTFOOH. I guess it was too much to expect consistency, but these suspensions seem a bit light.

This is just the eligibility comitee not the infractions comittee.

We didn't have any players suspended for ours. So if anything, they were worse.

I know I sound like a "where there is smoke ther is fire guy" but Shapiro is handing out booze and lap dances at a gentlemans's club like candy and the tab was less than 400 bucks. color me pessimistic.

That's what I thought when I saw that Harris' total was $140 for "meals, entertainment, transportation and nightclub cover charges." And that's in Miami.

The only way those things only add up to $140 is if the meals were from McDonald's, the nightclubs were the equivalent of drinking at a local Applebee's, and the transportation was riding on the back of someone's bicycle around town.
