Nice audio... I especially found it funny that they said we schedule several softer teams throughout the season, so second and third strings get playing time in the years leading up to when they are starters... Love it! Also, how Miami is going to be more athletic than Iowa or Wiscy is beyond me......

I think Miami is more athletic than Iowa or Wiscy...they aren't better football players though.

I understand when Herbie doesn't go 'Homer' on ESPN -- it's his job to be a commentator, not an OSU PR hack -- but WTF does DiNardo have to sound like he can't wait to see Miami put the Buckeyes in their place? I mean the sob is hired by the Big 10, for the Big 10 and paid by the Big 10 and the last time I looked the Buckeyes were in the Big 10.

?I had the opportunity to play against Ohio State in the National Championship Game in 2006 (at Florida) and that is a better defense than the one we faced back then. That team (Ohio State) is going to win a lot of games.

And for the faster comment, everything has been on radio only

Seems the quote was misread initially. He's stating that our defense now is better than our '06 squad from how I read it:

"ON LAST WEEK AT OHIO STATE: I had the opportunity to play against Ohio State in the National Championship Game in 2006 (at Florida) and that is a better defense than the one we faced back then. That team (Ohio State) is going to win a lot of games."

EDIT: Missed your post when mine came up Coqui - must be two different statements. Purely subjective of course, but won't hurt my feelings ;-)

Some good Buckeyes talk here, from Miami radio show

Holy crap! This is annoying as hell. "We like to relive the old glory days." and no wait "It's our time."

When talking about our defensive stats, "I'm not trying to build them up too much, but these are just the facts." that made me laugh.

And Todd Blackledge is going to eat his words on Saturday regarding Terrelle.

I'll stop there.

Edit: I also love how they are comparing us to Wisconsin as if we have the inferior on defense.

Good point. DiNardo's anti-Buckeye sentiment on the BTN is nothing new, but this does take it to another level.

So how many of us on this board will be at the game Saturday night? I for one am attending my first game in the 'shoe since Eddie was the tailback. After watching my son first play on Friday nights, then Saturday afternoons, and now watching him coach on Fridays I haven't had a weekend to see the Bucks in person in over a decade. My son's team has a bye this week so he and 10 other of my friends will be cheering on the Bucks Saturday afternoon. So who else will be there????

:oh:

:io:I'm there

DiNardo also got fired by a Big Ten school, if I recall, along with everywhere else he worked. The guy is a talentless buttchicken who wouldn't figure out a way to win a game if the other team forfeited.
