THE BROADCASTS
Television: ESPN will televise
the game with Brad Nessler
and Todd Blackledge in the booth and Holly Rowe on the
sidelines. Joe Tessitore and Tim Brown will call the game
on ESPN3D.

Todd Blackledge is the best in the business, pro or college, IMO. Nice to see they finally got him away from Mike Patrick who is probably the worst in the business.

Brittney Spears is happy her career will no longer be discussed in OT as well.

random question, since todd blackledge is one of the commentators for the game, is he going to do that taste of the town thing he used to do in the past?
One way to find out is to head over to Easy Living and see if he's there today.

No Pam "trickeration" Ward is the worst. If she does a Buckeye game it's straight to the sweet baritone of Paul Keels for me. Glad to hear we have Nessler. Always enjoyed his play by play.

For those that missed it, this was Feldman's blog post from yesterday:

College Football: Week 2 picks, including Ohio State vs. Miami and Oklahoma vs. Florida State - ESPN

I've visited WVU and Marshall the past two days as I'm making my way to Columbus for the Miami-Ohio State game. I spoke to Herd coach Doc Holliday last night about the Buckeyes and he has an interesting perspective on OSU. Holliday was an assistant at Florida when the Gators beat OSU in the BCS title game a few years back and played this Buckeyes team in the opener. He told me that this OSU team is much better than that one. This is a much faster team. That one couldn't run with those Gators. This team could. He said there was a big difference in the speed OSU has at linebacker compared to what it had before, and its O-line is much more agile than the one UF handled.

Marcus Freeman:Ross Homan

wash

James Laurinaitis:Brian Rolle

Rolle gets to the ball significantly faster than Laurinaitis in my opinion

John Kerr:Andrew Sweat

Sweat is a significant improvement over Josh Kerr in terms of speed and athletic ability

throw in pseudo LB Moeller and yeah, it is pretty clear which unit is faster and better in space

factor in the DL experience and depth and I don't think there is any question which front 7 has the upper hand
