Ok after watching a longer video of the Miami/FAMU game:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYfLTyN_dCA]YouTube - Miami Hurricanes vs Florida A&M UM-FAMU 2010[/ame]

I've come to the following conclusions about our game.

As cliche as it sounds, this game will be won in the trenches.

When Ohio State is on offense

We should work on fake snaps as well as modifying the count. Too many times in this video I saw the Miami players either predict or jump way ahead of the snap and just get lucky.....the downside to these jumps is a high probability of false starts as a result.

We need to establish the run up the center. Miami has the speed to maintain outside runs, so if Boom and Zoom are forced to go outside all the time, we're in for a long night. Delayed QB draws might work as long as our line can spread out their D-Line.....we can depend on Pryor's stiff arm to handle their LBs.

Take advantage of their over pursuit. A staple of most Florida teams is the idea of going for the big hit. I saw a lot of shoulder tackles. We will need to use our size to that advantage and bounce off those while maintaining speed.

Our Tackles will need to be solid and (sad to say) TE might be needed for blocking. Obviously this depends on how our line holds up to theirs on passing plays.

Most important, Pryor needs to not hold on to the ball too long. Pass it, run, or throw it away.

When Ohio State is on defense

This seems much simpler. Contain the run and maintane proper angles and positions. Most of their yardage was done because of poorly taken angles by FAMU. We also need to make sure we don't play their style of defense and make sure we wrap those tackles. I'm hoping our Line will be enough to break their line so our LBs can run freely around the field as necessary.

If our Tackles can push the pocket back and we can get good pressure from the ends, even if they don't result in sacks, it might shake up Harris just enough. Their weakness might be the interior of the line. At 3:00, they do a 3 man rush with an additional LB blitz. Harris makes the pass, but gets drilled by FAMUs LB. I don't see our D-Line getting pushed around enough to give Harris such a lane to make that same throw.

Ohio State Special teams
SURE TACKLES!
SURE TACKLES!
SURE TACKLES!

I think that about covers that.

Remember how Tressel said after the USC game that our DL "splattered them" (referring to USC's OL)? If you think our DL was fired up for USC, ratchet that level up two notches for this game. Da U's OL has no idea what's in store for them...

Gotcha. Just wasn't quite sure if your points were reinforcing my 'Stupid' comment or pointing out absurdity. It just shocked me that the dude is a journalist! Completely unprofessional.

Nothing amazes me anymore. I just wanted to make people who saw your post aware of the fact that he had never actually been to the stadium before they start flying off the hook, or agreeing with him (as some did earlier in the thread, by complaining about having to sit with grandmas), whatever their opinion. The article is not even worth reading.

Does anyone know if this actually is true?

Sharpe added to the buildup this week when he was told by Gamble and former Ohio State receiver Michael Jenkins there was no pass interference seven years ago, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

I wouldn't expect Chris and/or Michael to make such a statement.

If it rains a lot, the score will be closer, but the win perhaps more dominant. The O Line will have a field day and we run them over, a la Illinois last year. Obviously they're a much better team, and I don't expect the score to be that lopsided, just the same type of physical pounding that we approached that game with.
