Game Thread Miami (FL) at tOSU, Sat Sep 11, 3:40 ET, ESPN

I don't see how Hendersonk will be ready to play that soon.
And I wonder how sharp the UM QB Harris will be after not playing at all in the Spring because of hand surgery?
I'm sure they'll watch the Rose Bowl film thoroughly and try to get a return game going to make plays and get better field position. That was a weakness for us last year. But unless our safetys suck, or we turn it over, I don't see how they are going to score much.

How about because we pounded a Wisconsin that dominated you far more than the scoreboard showed in their bowl win over you. Granted, common-opponent comparisons aren't always indicative of future outcomes, but if Wisconsin's defense can shut Miami down on a neutral field, our faster, stronger defense should be able to do even better at home. How often does Da U play in front of 105,000+ opposing fans? Let's see Harris keeps his composure after the first time he gets sacked and the crowd let's him have it...

That's funny FSU fans said the same thing last year before we beat them and watched there season collapse.

So which part were FSU fans saying?

Sure, FSU beat Wiscy in their bowl game in 1998, but scUM-south hadn't played Wiscy at any point in the previous season. Or are you claiming you know some FSU fans with knowledge of the future? There certainly aren't any in Tallahassee. Granted, common-opponent comparisons aren't always indicative of future outcomes, but if Wisconsin's defense can shut Miami down on a neutral field, our faster, stronger defense should be able to do even better at home. Still no. Cryami lost to Cal in December of 2008, not Wisconsin. And they certainly didn't say anything about playing you "at home", because the game was played in your own stadium. By the way, do you know where it is? Just askin' - most Miami fans have never been there. How often does Da U play in front of 105,000+ opposing fans? FSU said this? Really? The Candy Cane's stadium isn't that big, and they wouldn't be able to fill it if it were that big. Let's see Harris keeps his composure after the first time he gets sacked and the crowd let's him have it... Again, the game was in Miami. The crowd was pretty quiet when Harris was sacked.
To sum up: I see nothing there that any sane FSU fan would have said last year. I also happen to know that no FSU fans of any kind, sane or not, were saying such things. I live in Tallahassee and work within earshot of our factory floor where the hourly workers build the devices that have been designed by the salaried Big 10 alums. The hourly workers are constantly talking/arguing about Seminole vs. Candy Cane football. I heard a lot of what was said, and none of it had anything to do with the above. Truth be known, most Seminole fans just wanted the Bowden era over and had written off last season before it even began.

All of this misses the larger point that Ohio State is going to maul Miami's o-line.

Go Bucks.

Well, unless a moderator can confirm that that's the email he registered to the forums with, he may just be a professional troll using the email of someone he wishes lurid emails to be sent to.

But he's also banned...I dunno, I wouldn't do it if I were you.
