OK, well, shit - I don't wanna peeve you, either :)

Going briefly back to the 2003 NC game bandwagoners talk about...

If they were REAL CFB fans, they'd ALSO still be ticked at the 89/90 CU/MO game.

yeah...
5 freaking DOWNS!

That one still ticks me off...
I mean - DOWNS are a BASIC of the game.
How can you screw THAT up?!?!?

I've also seen all the trash Ohio fans were talking about that HS Dwyer/Glenville game. That was just a travesty.
Doesn't matter WHERE the two teams were from - that was just ugly.
Read a WHOLE LOT of remarks from fb fans ALL OVER Ohio.

It's pretty easy to tell who are the true fans.
 Thanks.

I only saw the replay of the Glenville Dwyer game... Looked pretty bogus from here too. 3 times they scored, and not one of them counted.

Just watching some of the DVR, I still like how Todd Blackledge responded to Jacory Harris' third interception with just, "Are you kidding me?"

In my life, I still haven't finished a Thurmanator and sides. Still on the Bucket List.

i went over to Grassy for the first time in ages. very mixed reviews. half think Tressel is a class act. the other half want Shannon fired. i don't think those knuckleheads realize how badly Coker screwed up that program. Shannon's doing a pretty good job, imho. they're definitely on the right track.

the Buckeyes are absolutely LOADED. maybe the most depth since '96.

Well just stating an opinion here and maybe I don't need to say it because I think it's been widely known of my feelings....

I like Saine, but I do not believe he is our best "running back". I think he's a lethal weapon in doses, especially recieving the ball. However, he often goes sideways and doesn't run behind his pads enough. Sure some of his struggles aren't his fault, but I just don't see the position being natural to him. I would've loved to see what Berry/Hall could've done today because I really feel their agility and shiftiness would've served the offense well today when space was at a premium.

Saine will do good things this year, but I really hope we continue to see a little more of Herron. Mainly because I think he runs a little more downhill and not so much east/west. Would love to see Saine/Herron in the game like today together. It really causes for problems when Saine goes out as a receiver.

they were both out there on Saine's TD. Boom was in the backfield. Zoom was in the slot.

He was a definite handicapping of the program.
Recruiting was hideous, play-calling was horrible post 2002, discipline was...well...there WAS none.

Not only that, but THAT @ssclown got rid of Art Kehoe!
And because of him, Schiano took the Rutgers job..

Man - that was two MAJOR losses right there.
He shoulda' fired HIMSELF!

TOTAL and complete dismantling of a program...

It' s not easy to go from one of the top 5 teams of all time, to 5-7, in a span of 4-5 years... I'm STILL pissed at him!

He was a nice enough guy, as a person, but not for HC.

It's MUCH easier to fall from the top, than to climb back up.
Shannon's climbing, and making progress every year. We're still a few steps down from the top rung.

Honestly, I was expecting more from this rec class of 08. This was one of the top 10 classes of 08, and they should be ahead of where they are.

Hopefully they regroup, and play up to their potential the rest of the way.
9/23 they play at Pitt, so let's see if they regroup, tighten their chinstraps, and go after it.

How was the crowd noise? The Block O coordinator guy kept us fired up by reading all the smack talk about how quiet the shoe is.

He had some other funny speeches, but this was the only one i caught.

All I can go on is the fact we had to adjust the surround sound just to barely hear the announcers (was at a UMiami "fan's" house for the game). I think, from the TV viewers perspective, it was on par with USC last year. IMO.
