They're surprisingly humble over there. I expected a bunch of excuses...the refs, the rain, the field, you got lucky, etc...but they're mostly saying the better team won. Very surprising.

THUGGALOES FOR LIFE!!!!11!!!11!!1!

Thing is, the REAL U fans, we know better...
We know about the incomplete call on Gamble which was wrong...
We know about a CRAPLOAD of holds we got away with on Gamble...

Besides which, that PI only EXTENDED the game - it didn't end it.
UM had another chance and failed. Period.

The ones that keep on talking trash, seven years later (get a freaking GRIP already), are not too knowledgeable on CFB.

Actually, I think they're just trolling...

got back from the game...very fun....I understand the whole fanbase isn't like this...but imo, the Miami fans in at the shoe represented themselves very poorly, made me think even worse of them...they were cheering and yelling during Carmen Ohio and the beginning part of god bless America before the game

Nice to see Boom have some nice runs, special teams has got to get better

Couldn't be any worse than the Texas band in '05. Those guys were ass clowns, and they were the band.

Glad to have you aboard Shark, hopefully you'll stick around. Gained a lot of respect for Jacory today.
I have to say that I changed my opinion of Harris. A gamer. Hung in after some bad balls, threw a bunch of pretty ones and was indeed a leader of his team. And a classy guy in defeat. His supporting cast was nowhere near as good as TP, and yet it was still not a given until the very end that with one play Harris would get them back in the hunt.

That was a very enjoyable game to watch, and the nation should have a bunch of respect for tOSU and for a game Miami.

He had some moments.
Ha HAS improved a bit... there were QUITE a few times when he could've made a dumb mistake, and took a sack, or threw it away.
But he made two big mistakes, and worse, his receivers let him down quite a few times. Two turnovers I blame on the receivers, and the 3 drops for a TD in the 3Q.

Better, overall, but still needs more improvement.
GOTTA play SMART football, especially with a team with the talent and speed of tOSU. Ya just CAN'T keep giving the rock away like that...

That's a DAMN stingy defense up there in Columbus.
DAMN!

Sadly those kick returns won't allow the rest of the country to think so

Was definitely a good game. Miami's D is definitely legit as well. Based off of what I've seen the past couple of weeks, you're a shoe in for the ACC title.

Anyone see #52 Johnathan Hankins play on the D-Line? I had to look him up and he's a freshman and listed as 335lbs. I would argue from my view from the stands he's closer to 4 bills than 335. He seemed to do a good job clogging up the middle as they seemed to bring him in as it got closer to goal line situations.

Good game and stadium was rocking! A lot of trash talk from the few Miami fans in my section but that soon stopped around halftime. Excited for the season to progress...go bucks!!!

First and FOREMOST...

I'm a college football fan...

I gave up on the NFL a long time ago...
A bunch of overpaid, whining, crying b!tches...

I watch EVERY CFB game I possibly can, and enjoy it.

And it's REALLY frustrating being a Canes fan, with all these pr!ck bandwagoners that make us look bad.

Most of them:
1. Are NOT from Miami - I was born and raised in Miami
2. Are NOT from Florida - see #1
3. Probably have NO CLUE about the program's history
4. Show absolutely NO CLASS, whether in a win OR in a loss
5. Seem to think that talking sh!t non-stop will change history. It won't, thanks. Now STFU bandwagoners.
6. Annoy the SH!T out of me, because they make ME look bad...

I can probably continue all night...

The REAL, CORE UM fans are NOTHING like what you see on the InterWebz.

Miami is a tough sports town...
Everyone hops on the band wagon when you're winning...couldn't care less when you're not.

I was at the games in the 90's after the probation and we were getting drilled...
I was at the OB when UDub ended our NCAA record 58-game home winnning streak (and I was at the UDUB game when we drubbed them like 65-7)
I was at the re-scheduled UCLA game in I think 95/96 when we won 49-45, and was the spark for the 1996-2003 resurgence...
I waited out in the cold in front of the Hecht Athletic Center at LEAST 3-4 hours awaiting them from the Rose Bowl 2001 NC victory...
I've attended at least two of the missed FG games against FSU...

If ANY of those embarrassing "Canes Fans" can claim even ONE of those items on my list above, I'd be shocked...

They're a bunch trolling bandwagoners, and we'd be MUCH better off if they found another team to root for.

I have a VERY low tolerance for idiot Canes Fans, and even LESS for idiot Canes players - Van Dyke, you listening?
Quit talking trash at receivers, and ACT like you've been there before, and ACT like you belong there...

And he made the play, the WR simply dropped a perfect ball.
