Yep - I figured the announcers were busy during that VT game last year, and didn't see it. Here, when it rains, there's almost ALWAYS a lightning storm, and just like anywhere else, lightning = no game or practice.

When it rains, our offense get pretty, um, "offensive."

This game did NOT come down to officiating - just pointing out missed calls on both sides, and the missed horsecollars are scary.

That can be a REALLY dangerous situation for these kids!

I think these officials were worse than normal when it came to spotting the ball today. I think it went both ways, but the ball placement always seemed very generous. Just my 2 cents.

Definitely went both ways - no homering.
Someone said earlier, it was REALLY bad in the 1Q, but got better as the game progressed.
ALOT of missed horsecollars, which turns my stomach - THAT rule is in place for an f'ing REASON.
You can do SERIOUS DAMAGE to a kid with a horsecollar tackle.

Agreed. The officials were horrible, but it was at least equally horrible.

Agree on the positive solid stance we have now. We didn't need a miraculous leap by Ballard to ice it.
Boom surprised me today, Saine had a great catch to offset a lack of burst.
Barnett and Chekwa might share the game ball with TP.
I'll have to watch it again to sort it out. Head hurts..
Turning off Alabama PSU now! yuk

Gonna have to send an email - they need to clean their act up.
Should be ZERO tolerance on horsecollars, face masks, and they need to pay attention to ball-spotting...

Can't say I blame him. Coming out flat versus a mediocre team and getting your ass handed to you after you lose a close one last week is call for some serious discipline.

Good to see a Cane fan not on his way to getting banned. I hope you stick around.
