Mexico 0, USA 2 (Final)

US/Mexico is ALWAYS big. Huge regional bragging rights on the line. US has owned Mexico since 2000 and we are developing a mental edge over El Tri. USA has to keep it going and take it to them on Wednesday night.

Absolutely. The United States finally has it where their youth program is far superior to the Mexicans. The American U-20 team is one of the best in the world.

Outside of Azteca, has Mexico ever played us at another national stadium?

Our team traveling abroad has really helped them. Taking losses at Wembley and against Spain only helps come World Cup time.

That's a good question. I certainly cannot remember a time when they played us at home away from Azteca. If they have, it was a long time ago. They feel playing at Azteca gives them the best chance to win, and I don't blame them.

Funny thing is that is why Columbus gets to host them every 4 years. They are uneasy about playing here, due to the February weather, the guaranteed loud pro-American crowd, and the history of our national team's dominance over them in Columbus. They're scared.

For non world cup qualifiers they placed in one of their charming border cities. Can't remember which one but I think it was a U-21 where the Osama stuff started.

This thread needs more hooliganism, imo.
