I looked at that Facebook page. There is one pic of him with what looks like it could be an Ohio State peak cap, but mostly he wears a Texas cap. Guys, I think you want to be sure that someone is not setting this guy up.

I understand your concern here, but that "austingolfer" link is very strong imo. This is an OSU alum, with an OSU alum dad, who spent some years in Austin and wore UT stuff there, and now lives out east and wears Red Sox stuff there. Maybe this is more of a Rumor Mill topic anyway... I really don't think of this as a full fledged Strassini, unless "Henrey" is going around signing "102" autographs for free drinks, but I think it's worth asking just how this info got out there. Since it's been on wikipedia for 5 years, that "fact" has trickled out to a lot of other sites.

Because Giovanni was most likely a professional con man. I have little doubt that he was grooming some well heeled alums in Charlotte for the inevitable sit down to discuss some real estate or stock investment. He was playing a long game that went beyond selling autographs and banging milfs.
