They do make changes from time to time and there was the "tigerproofing" that occurred after he set the record. The Masters is a different Major than the others and it will be interesting to see if Spieth can keep it up if Tiger, Phil, or one of the other big names puts a little pressure on him today and tomorrow. Remember Rory's or Norman's classic Sunday meltdown.....
With so many guys shooting low numbers, I just wonder how long the good old boys from Augusta are going to be put up with the course being there for the taking. When there is nice weather, no wind, the course is pretty easy for the big hitters especially guys who can hit the long irons but that has always been true. I just think that they need to make the rough a little more difficult because it is pretty easy to get out of that pine straw. Also, making the course a little bit longer might help but then the players start to whine. I love the scenery but for pure golf I think the U.S. Open is usually a much better test.

The Master has always prided itself on being different. You can't go and lengthen the course again without destroying what makes it the Masters. I think if anything narrow the fairways, maybe rebuild some of the fairways to make the balls roll a little different, install some wind machines near the greens to make it more fun :).

Can someone refresh me what have the last 5 winning scores been? Is this year an anomaly because of the weather or is it more the norm?

Fowler had a monster day at -6 for the day, wish he would have been closer to begin. I am thinking at this point that Spieth would have to break down colossally to be caught...Rose does not look on his game and Phil does not either.
