  • Jordan Spieth is just tearing it up through the first two rounds. New low, I believe. It will be interesting to see if anyone can put a little pressure on him tomorrow. It won't be His playing partner tomorrow, Hoffman, guaranteed choke job coming from him. Tiger and Phil doing ok, but I would keep an eye on DJ.

I actually picked Spieth as my prediction to win this. Hope he can keep it up.

Also good to see Tiger playing pretty well. Best thing possible for the PGA Tour is to have him playing well and in contention on a regular basis.

Spieth is [Mugatu]So hot right now[/Mugatu]. I see no way he loses this.

Also, how sad is it that Tiger finishing in the top 15 would be a major forward step in his career right now. That sounds disgusting to even say.

I think i could root for Spieth had he not gone to Tejas where they act like they created him and his game.... that fact kinda makes me root for a Normanesk collapse

I think the good old boys at Augusta might start thinking about making this course a little tougher with so many guys being underpar and with Spieth and Hoffman shooting ridiculous low scores in the first two rounds. Out of all the Majors, I do not know if this is the toughest course to play or not because it is somewhat forgiving when you do not hit the fairway off of the tee. In a U.S. Open or PGA if you are not on the fairway you will not get to the green in 2 shots usually. I do not know if the guys at Augusta will start thinking about narrowing the fairways but hitting the ball off of the pine straw is a lot more forgiving than deep rough.

They do make changes from time to time and there was the "tigerproofing" that occurred after he set the record. The Masters is a different Major than the others and it will be interesting to see if Spieth can keep it up if Tiger, Phil, or one of the other big names puts a little pressure on him today and tomorrow. Remember Rory's or Norman's classic Sunday meltdown.....

It's already started... by posting a 54-hole record score.

He already had the record and yes he got up and down, but look at where the last 3 holes went....he was all over the place on 16 and also on 18 until he made a shot.

The nerves will get to him tomorrow - this comes with the usual NCAA basketball caveat that I'm wrong 85% of the time
