AUBURN, Alabama -- Five-star wide receiver Stefon Diggs didn't commit on his weekend visit to Auburn over the weekend -- and he may not let on where's he's going on signing day, either.
The receiver from Maryland says he'll likely choose his college after the Feb. 1 signing day.
Fans should take note that Diggs left saying the visit to Auburn was "probably my best visit yet, unofficial or official. I feel comfortable here. It's family. I feel at home."
Still, Auburn is in the mix of schools spread across the country. Diggs said his Top 5 is Auburn, California, Southern California, Florida and Maryland. He'll visit Florida next weekend.
"Nobody new. No surprises," Diggs said.
He said the most important factor in choosing a school will be playing time.
"Location is not everything. I don't mind going far away," he said.
Diggs said he liked his first meeting with coach Gene Chizik.
"I appreciate meeting him. We got off to a good a start. First impressions are the best impressions. It was great," Diggs said.
He also said he was happy to renew his relationship with receivers coach Trooper Taylor.
"I call him Pops now," he said.
Diggs said he and Chizik talked about Auburn's next offensive coordinator.
"We had the same ideas. I don't want to go into much detail," Diggs said.
As in, he's not going to drop any names.
"Like a Genie in a bottle," Diggs said.
