Marvel Cinematic Universe

I liked it at first, but I guess I expected more. To be fair, I had slept about four hours in the previous 36-48, and not four hours consecutively. That had something to do with it I'm sure. Every viewing after, it seemed to have bits and pieces i missed the first time. I'm a huge John C. Reilly fan and i didn't realize he was even in it the first time.

I watched it again today and really dug the part where Cal Naughton Jr called him "Star Prince", followed by their individual "introductions" in the police lineup where it listed their aliases and Quill's said "Space Lord" :slappy:

I hope it ends up true, would be awesome...Apparently the guy head of Marvel is going to some spidey event that Sony hosts each year, so that could be an indicator as well

Spiderman might be the deepest (maybe second to X-Men) of the Marvel comics, but there isn't enough for the cinematic universe like Sony was thinking about doing. Their best bet would be to work with Marvel to bring Spiderman into the MCU and then get to produce a solo movie every 3 years. Spiderman solo movies would probably make money like the Ironman solo films if he was an Avenger. Win-win for Sony and Marvel. The only thing that would have been better would be to bring in Spiderman before Civil War.

There's talk he could be an after credit scene after Age of Ulton...but with the character as big as Spiderman, I don't think it's a must to bring him before Civil War, would have been nice, but not required like some of these other characters

While I love me some Spidey, I'll be upset until there's legitimate action on (my favorite character) Deadpool.
Where have you been, man?

Ryan Reynolds as the merc with the mouth! He's been fighting to get this movie made for a few years now. It took an online grass-roots effort and him working with some people to make a "teaser" CGI test to prove to studios that there was an audience for it. It's probably one of the things I'm looking forward to most out of the next wave of comic movies.
