Don't get me all excited with a thread bump just to talk about shit that's already happened.

Ironman, Winter Soldier and Black Panther are the top 3 flicks in the universe before Infinity War, but many of these are pretty well done and not just tedious back story. Thor Ragnarok embraces the absurdity (in a good way).Ok fuckers, everyone in the Last Movie You Saw thread convinced me after watching Black Panther that I should start at the beginning and watch the rest. So I will chart my progress here. Saturday it was Ironman. Even Gwenyth looked hot and wasn’t annoying (maybe she is a good actress after all?). Story was more interesting than I thought it would be, though I had held out hope that Jeff Bridges would be back and not bite the weenie. Still, a high quality flick, but not quite at BP level.
1. Black Panther
2. Ironman
- Iron Man (2008)
- The Incredible Hulk (2008)
- Iron Man 2 (2010)
- Thor (2011)
- Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
- The Avengers (2012)
- Iron Man 3 (2013)
- Thor: The Dark World (2013)
- Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
- Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
- Ant-Man (2015)
- Captain America: Civil War (2016)
- Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
- Black Panther (2018)
- Doctor Strange (2016)
- Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
- Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
- Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
I'd add Captain America First Avenger to that list.Ironman
Ironman 3
The Avengers
Avengers Age of Ultron
Captain America Civil War
Thor Ragnarok (on Netflix)
I think I'd watch Ragnarok as the last one before Infinity War.Ironman, Winter Soldier and Black Panther are the top 3 flicks in the universe before Infinity War, but many of these are pretty well done and not just tedious back story. Thor Ragnarok embraces the absurdity (in a good way).
Here is someone else's recommended chronological order if you'd like to have no life and do them all. I can't vouch for it.
One article suggests these 6 as required viewings before Infinity War:
- Watch Ironman 2 while doing something else. Cheadle as Brody really hurts that one.
I'd add Captain America First Avenger to that list.
Thor is helpful, but you learn enough about Loki in the others.
I never saw Spiderman, Thor Ragnarok (watched since), Doctor Strange or Guardians vol 2 and was just fine enjoying Infinity war.
has anyone been nerdy enough to align IW & Antman and the Wasp?

I'm fine with skipping IM3 but you get plenty of BW backstory elsewhere. Also might not want to spell out the reveals from said movies.100% disagree with needing to view Iron Man 3. I mean all you need to know from that movie washe had surgery so he doesn't have to live with the arc reactor, and that's the last 5 seconds of the movie.
There, now you don't need to watch that movie! IM2 is more important than 3 (since that introduces Black Widow)
Also might not want to spell out the reveals from said movies.
I think avoiding Infinity War ones is a more fair goal.If somebody has not seen these movies yet and gets mad about spoilers that is 100% on them.
P.S. Vader is Luke's father, Rosebud is a sled, and Bruce Willis is already dead.
Well sure....but it's a reply to somebody asking what movies to watch in what order. If somebody has not seen these movies yet and gets mad about spoilers that is 100% on them.

Was it that bad outside of how they did the Mandarin? (which is a legit gripe)and I said he didn't need to, and told him the only piece of info needed (not like it's that big of a spoiler really)
Just saving someone from having to watch that awful movie
