Why would he tell Texas that he's going to Ohio State or USC before he first tells the school he picks? So, that clearly suggests to me that USCguru is saying that Sanchez has picked Texas.

I am not saying USCguru knows anything, in fact I doubt he does, but on bucknuts, he clearly says that he gave Mack the news and it may be good news it may be bad news.

He is covering his ass and the only thing he says is that Mack knows right now whether he is going to UT or somewhere else. We will probably never find out if that is accurate or not, so he is not really going out on a limb. But he never said MS is going to UT!

Mililani - He might want Texas to hear they are out of the picture from himself rather than third/forth person via some web site. It would be the classy thing to do.

For all I know USCguru, especially with a name like that, could be well connected with the participants of this affair, but the fact remains that he had a couple of posts on the insiders network before posting here, more or less stating what he posted on BN. Which isn't much.

On BN he also intimated that he would be deserving some apologies from grad21 for questioning the validity of his assertions, within a few days!

Why would Mark inform one coach and not the other two about his decision? Why would Bemoll call him from inside the shoe to keep him from making a decision untill the two of them spoke personally.

It would seem to me that Bemoll and Sanchez may have had contrasting views about their ultimate football selection.

I may be 100% wrong, but I don't think that Texas figures prominently in the picture. If he is looking for stability he certainly won't get it at Texas, where coach Brown could be dispatched if he blows another big one to OU.

I NEVER said that MS had commited to UT--what i said was that MS has made a decision. its done. period. all this conjecture about "who's phone call is making him lean where" and "if x, y, and z is going to occur then MS might lean this way" is a complete waste of time. For whatever reasons, Mark let it be know to Brown what his intentions were--im not saying UT is the only one who's been contacted, because as i stated on bucknuts, I HAVE NO IDEA if USC and/or OSU has also been contacted but is keeping it hush hush (funny though how some "insiders" are starting to predict that Texas might be out)

call me a liar, fraud, whatever the hell you want. i could care less. I have 3 childhood friends who attend OSU and Wisconsin so ive always followed Big 10 stuff. i was just passing on what i was told. thats my last post on the matter.

You can't pin this on me as incorrect, but I will be back later when the info is public to post "I told you so".
Guru..if you want to play the "wired to an informed source card" but are not willing to call your shot before we all know it then spare us the guessing games...we are all capable of guessing where he is going without you. It is akin to saying you know the world's greatest card trick - but don't have any cards at the moment to prove it. Guess like the rest of us if you like, but don't pass it off as more than that unless you are willing to call your shot.

This is a public board, where people go to communicate with one another, just like BN or WeAreSc. Your last line is the same one you posted on BN, which is that you don't want to discuss this subject any further. So why post in the first place, if you are not looking for a dialogue?

I also tried to contact you at WeAreSc to tell you that I didn't mean to attack your credibility by saying I had never heard of you, as a courtesy to a fellow Trojan. But it seems that you prefer to remain silent, and enjoy these curt one-liners that don't clarify a damn thing for anybody.

Nobody is calling you a liar or a fraud. I am just wandering what your purpose might be to inform us of a decision and then refuse to discuss it.

As it is right now, we don't know what your opinion is, and quite frankly, I don't know if I even care to know it.

USCemper--the reason i posted originally was to simply let people know that MS had decided. Thats it.

So you want to know the answer? Fine. Mark will announce for OSU to join his two buddies at the 'Shoe....the talk with Norm had him swaying for USC, but believe it or not, the call from KB had NOTHING to do with Mark's final decision. As a poster above so eloquently put, 18 year olds never change their mind, so take that as you will. However, as of Tuesday, July 13, 2004, he's a buckeye. Save your money on the premium. OSUgrad, I will be back to accept your apology.

by the way, i am kidding about the apology. no flame intended. now UT can go afer Ryan...
