Mark will announce for OSU to join his two buddies at the 'Shoe....the talk with Norm had him swaying for USC, but believe it or not, the call from KB had NOTHING to do with Mark's final decision. As a poster above so eloquently put, 18 year olds never change their mind, so take that as you will. However, as of Tuesday, July 13, 2004, he's a buckeye. Save your money on the premium. OSUgrad, I will be back to accept your apology.

Here's an interesting theory that i havent seen discussed (if it has my apologies)...and it makes some logical sense...

it was williams who initially loved tOhio State University.....he convinced Sanchez to visit.....MS subsequently loved his visit.....then Bemoll (who never had tOSU on his radar) decides to visit b/c both will. and sanchez are raving about Cbus...

Bemoll visits and is completely blown away..cancels his LSU trip and calls MS to say you were right...i love this place...don't commit to the Bucks until I get back and we talk....lets have fun committing together to tOSU.....

just a thought....

It sounds like good news for the bucks. I said on this board one month ago that I thought that Sanchez was a strong tOSU lean because of the USC depth at the QB position.

Mark Sanchez is a good guy from a good family and IF he decides to go to Columbus, as you say, his choice will be a good one.

There is a post on Bucknuts saying that another site is reporting Sanchez is coming to OSU. Since we now have corroboration does that make it official?

Oops, never mind. That other site is us. :)

Not being picky, but didn't Sanchez say that Bemoll said "don't commit anywhere" until they talked? Obviously it most likely means "don't commit to someplace other than Ohio State until we talk" but from what I remember of the Sanchez quote of Bemoll, it wasn't "don't commit to the Bucks until I get back". Hey, I hope I'm wrong and they're already putting the finger on the trigger to commit here...

actually that is nitpicking.... :tic:

i was thinking more along the lines that Bemoll knew that MS was already leaning towards tOSU...while Bemoll was not all that into the Buckeyes...but visited anyways....remember he was planning to vist lsu yet.....but he was so blown away by the buckeyes that he called Sanchez to tell him to hold off on committing to the Bucks until they talk.....
