Mark Richt (ex- UGA & Miami Fla Head Coach)

If you dislike Richt because he coaches in the SEC, that's strange, but that's you're opinion. If you dislike Richt because of his TD celebration directive last year versus Florida, that's you're opinion. If you feel that Richt comes across as arrogant and cocky during interviews, that's you're opinion.

Ok. Now explain why. Fill me in on why I should despise a seemingly good man that is very involved in numerous Christian organizations, visited the troops overseas, adopted children, and is involved in multiple charities.

We should hate him because he let his kids celebrate a TD?
He made those kids celebrate a touchdown. What if some of them didn't want to celebrate? Now they're scarred for life. I know for a fact that #77 didn't want to be humiliated by his horrible dancing.

Have you no heart?

We should hate him because he is a Bobby Bowden clone, a hypocrite that talks religion and class and closes his eyes to player behavior as long as he wins.

You should hate the scum bag because he is a fucking liar who lied about his team and the celebration. He told them to do it, and to this date he claims that "I had no idea the whole team would run out" even tho none of the coached were surprised when it happened, tried to stop it, nor hid their laughter while it was going on.

Not the worst thing ever, I agree. But did whiny little Helen Hunt tell the truth about it after the SEC investigated??? Hell no, the Bowden clone hypocritical ass-wipe lied.

Zook owns his lying ass.

Put that on his gravestone

(Woof - I still likes yas bro, but I hate your team and your fake loser of a coach. You excepted)

I am sorry but anyone who, along with his wife, would adopt 2 children including one that will require quite a bit of surgery, from an orphanage in Europe is fine with me. I really don't care what he does on the football field.

Shocking that a Florida fan absolutely hates Richt. What's next, NDC telling us he despises Pete Carroll?

Coach Richt has a bit more to learn in order to be considered in the same league as Coach Tressel.
He began his tenure at UGA as the HC/Offensive coordinator. Over the past 2 to 3 years he's gradually filtered off the bulk of the OC duties to our current coordinator - Mike Bobo.

I might be incorrect in assuming this - but I always viewed Coach Tressel as a "CEO" type coach:

I set the guidelines for how this program will be run
I set the expectations for what we will do on and off the field
When there are adjustments that should be made - I'll need to know about what's being done and in some cases, I'll need to approve.
I will provide 2nd chances to young men who deserve them - because I was 18-22 years old once too.
I'll try to live my life as an excellent example for my players and wil try to make The Ohio State University proud.

Please remember - Jimmy Vest became a head coach for Y-State in 1986. He's got decades of experience on Coach Richt (who started in 2001). I understand that Youngstown ain't Columbus - but experience matters.

Coach Richt is still learning what it takes to be in the league of the Tressels of the world. If 2 Sugar Bowls and 2 SEC titles is what you get during the early years - I'm sticking with him.

This is a passionate thread - I hope this helps a little bit and lets you know how proud we are to have Coach Richt lead our boys. :)

How do you beat Zook to offers in Europe?

Think about it. Infiltrate the orphanages.

Personally, I don't care how anyone feels about coaches and players outside of tOSU...I'll chime in when I feel someone is clueless on a situation or when they simply make a blind statement with zero explanation. I found yours to be the latter and I asked you to explain your stance. Nothing more.

you talking about me?
