Agreed. The beginning of the tournament never disappoints. The end isn't nearly as captivating, which makes college basketball probably the only sport in which the playoffs don't get better as they go on.

So many times a team makes a big come back then they run out of gas. Shockers just started too poorly, and the 3rd game in 5 days probably caught up to them a bit, too.
