So, where do I begin?
"Strategy pad" - Terrible.
Superhuman linebackers - its worse than NCAA
defender pursuit angles. - played one game last night online, one. I was the Eagles, he was the Vikings. The second he saw man coverage on AP he dumped it out to him. Every time the linebacker could never get out there. The worst part? The guy was awful. Possibly one of the very worst players I've come across. But even an athletic OLB could not get out in time, regardless if I moved him to the side AP would be coming out on. Not only that, but defenders would just stop once the ball was thrown. Ok, maybe not 'stop' but they would hesitate in such a way that it was nothing but big gains.
I even put a fucking Safety on AP and the same shit happened. Brief hesitation, coupled with the fact that apparently its impossible to make a solid open field tackle at all.
AP finished with 12 receptions for nearly 200 yards.
Look, I'm not a Madden god, but I was 96-42 in 10' and 109-58 in 09', I know how to play the damn game and what should work against what.
NCAA won't let you get away with that shit, so what exactly has happened in between the realese of that, now this?
Very frustrating. The deep ball is back too. Seems like recievers come down with the big play in single coverage (against Pro-bowl CB's I might add) more than they miss them.
I'll try a couple more, maybe it was a fluke, but I really dont like what I see so far.
