I should have worded it "shot at winning a third title in N'Awlins ..."

But your Tigers do well at having fine seasons when the SuperDome is the final destination.

was listening to the postgame show on way home tonight and they interviewed Burrow and asked about the jersey.

he said something to the effect of he wanted to show his appreciation to the university and the state for what they’ve meant to him.

I don’t know if he truly realizes how much he’s meant to us as well though.

I hope LSU fans realize that when Burrow leaves, their going back to mediocrity and Bamas bitch, right? I still dont see coach O recruiting a QB and calling a competent offense in big games. I'm glad they lucked into Burrow and are having a magical season, but I don't see this sustaining long term

Bama has played more than just LSU this year. Calendar year, they have played 3 ranked teams and have given up an average of 46 points.

You think LSU, who's recruiting lights out including better than bama, is gonna suddenly drop off the face of the earth, and bama will just go back to greatness with worse recruiting and losing Tua and a shit ton on offense?

Dude, Nootch will confirm. I hated the O hire and thought it would be bad going forward. But I have eyes and in fact a pretty good feel for the program and it's direction. We ain't going anywhere.

Joe is the best I've seen in purple and gold, his season is absolutely beyond description. But he was here last season with the same cast. Joe Brady's influence on the offense cannot be denied. If we keep him, we'll see what happens with Myles Brennan. But more importantly, the offensive talent, including at QB, is lining up at coach O's door.
Not Saban's.
