LSU Tigers (official thread)

LOL, so you do know that my home airport is ORD, right? I’m also Exec Plat on AA. Before Covid I may as well have had a permanent seat in either of the airports’ Admiral’s Clubs.

Perhaps it’s because I don’t spend much time outside of the clubs when at the airports, but I actually like ORD, CLT, DFW and SFO quite a bit. It’s the airports that have little AA presence where I seem to have frustrations.

Truth be told, it has more to do with the cluster of construction and the shitty area that CLT is in than the airport itself. That being said, the fact that there's no transit system to help with the spaghetti arm terminals, it can be a bit hairy/discombulated/messy for those that have connections there.

This I agree with. The public transport to / from CLT is non-existent.

Flying pretty much only AA from CLT restricts my requirements to know much of the airport beyond TSA and my route to my terminal. I _can_ see where you’re going with the spaghetti thing though. It does seem to be poorly planned. Sorry United flyers. LOL.

Starting QB
Starting RB
2 Starting OL
Best WR in conference (still lead conf in TD despite playing 3 fewer games than anyone else)
Starting LB
2 All-American CB
2 starting safeties

we are cursed

Georgia has more injuries and is still undefeated winning by a 4+ TD margin each game.

If only LLLLLSU had the talent and depth that Kirby has built at UGA, you'd be able to do the same.

Georgia has more injuries

LOL.
It's cute that you are so desperate for something worth bragging about that you even try to one up the injury discussion.

So here we go. Scholarship Players unavailable to LSU this coming week
QB - 1 (projected starter injured in camp)
RB - 2 (projected starter ruled ineligible in camp)
WR - 4 (Boutte still leads SEC in TDs despite sitting last 3 games)
OL - 4 (all 4 started at least one game)
DL - 3 (all 3 were starters)
LB - 2 (projected starting MLB injured in camp)
CB - 3 (2 all-Americans, plus the top guy to fill in their spots)
S - 2 (both started earlier in year)

That's 21 contributors (or projected contributors lost in preseason camp) gone.
We played the Florida game with only 59 scholarship players (NCAA rules say you have to have a minimum of 53 to play).

Arik Gilbert
Jamaree Salyer
JT Daniels (limited)
Darnell Washington (limited)
Adam Anderson
George Pickens

That's 6 5 stars on IR (1 more than the number of wins LSU will have this year).

Okay, I was wrong. We don't have MORE 5 stars on IR as LSU has on their roster, but we have JUST AS MANY as you do on your entire team.

Still undefeated. Still breaking records. Still putting up nearly 40 points a game on average (38.4 PPG/Average).

If we had all our 5 star offensive pieces fully activated, we'd have an offense comparable to 2019 LSU and 2020 Bama.

But even with all these 5 stars missing, we're still en route to being an all-time great team.

Go Dawgs.

Thinking a few players turns the current Georgia sludge fart offense into 2019 LSU is up there on the list of dumb things you've said.

Ohio State is by far the best offensive team in the nation and averages 44.9/game.
Georgia, with all the injuries and a walk-on qb, averages 38.4/game.
Not too far of a gap.

JT Daniels is a pre-season Heisman favorite, but injuries has kept him off the field. Add in Arik Gilbert, Darnell Washington, and George Pickens, and that's an explosive WR/TE core.

Didn't say it would be turned into the 2019 LSU offense literally, but it would be comparable. Probably something like Bama's 2020 offense with Pickens as the deep threat that D. Smith was last year.
