Love/Hate your job?

Hate my job and cannot wait until August when I can quit and start grad school again. I primarily hate it because my boss is an ego-centric idiot and I work at a ghetto university. Furthermore, I have to drive into downtown Cleveland every day which is enough to make anyone sick. Of course, I only took this job knowing it was a one year deal, so I am simply counting my last 2 months.

I like my job, but my boss keeps giving me shit about my "flair". Some shit about just doing enough to get by, or something. I do have a very nice Swingline stapler though. I used to have a Bostich, but now I have a Swingline.

I do a positive and negative analysis on my job all the time.

Good money, great benefits, almost no commute, freedom with the right amount of responsibility are the pluses.

Not enough money, is there ever enough, some people at the office and the industry I work in are the minuses.

I have been here eight years, normally I would have had 3 or 4 jobs in that span before. I know myself well enough to know I will become restless. I keep my eyes open for the next opportunity but am comfortable where I am now.

For all of you that hate your job or your boss I feel for you. I have been there before. The ones that love their job are the lucky ones.

I like the company that I work for and I have been in the same career field since I graduated High School but I am not happy with the job that I have right now. I hate sitting in front of this goddamn computer every day doing the same thing over and over and over and... well you get it. :smash:

my boss just laughs and asks if i have work to do, i always say yes but this is more important.

this time of year is great, he is golfing with clients all of the time so he is hardly in the office, we just went into our server room and played poker for an hour!!!

Love my job, although it can me more stressful than it needs to be. I also coach HS football and baseball, so no matter how bad your day is, as soon as you go to practice, you forget all about it.
